    I did this a few years ago, found it a bit misleading.

    Labour is free/discounted, but you still pay a lot for parts and consumables.

    Went in with the voucher for what I thought would be a free or at least cheap service/transmission flush/can't remember, ended up paying over $500 on top of what I paid for the voucher.

    My own fault for not checking, but worth knowing that its a voucher that you'll need to spend much more than $169 to take full advantage of.

    Those of you voting negatively should make sure your reason for negging the deal is in line with the voting guidelines or your vote may be revoked by a mod.

    I'm not suggesting any of you are incorrect, but you may need to elaborate a bit more to make sure your vote sticks.

        Have a look at the link I posted to the voting guidelines and scroll down to "Inappropriate uses of negative vote".

        I'm trying to help those who have cast currently invalid negative votes to change their reason to something that will make the vote stick and not end up being removed.

          I don't often neg deals, dunno why, just don't.

          As you have probably now seen, your "scam and spam" comment attached to your neg wasn't enough of a reason to make it stick and it's gone. You've been around since at least 2010, you should know this by now!

    As long as their is no price list for parts or you can BYO Oil and parts no deal … as you don't know where it will end up. The prices for Oil could be so expensive that the don't need to charge for labour.

    The business model is based on high prices of parts. Who would be able to give away nearly 900$ worth of labour … I have to agree with the others "scam and false advertising" is very likely here.

    I honestly can't believe that this is even allowed here … and we get a lot of "inappropriate use of negative vote"s … in my opinion they were all very valid. A deal which does not include a full price list can't be a deal and should not be published. On this deal you are forced to purchase items and you don't know the price of them. Until this is not clear the deal should not be published.

    The deal as it stands is:

    • Break inspection and adjustment
    • Computer scan test
    • Saftey Inspection
    • Exhaust System check
    • Tyre rotation

    (these are the only items which don't require an extra purchase) … that is what you get for 169$ … not a bargain. All the other times don't have enough information and the deal should not be published as no price is given. So it is impossible to find out if it is a deal or not.

    don't buy, it's a trap. I bought something like this for bridgestone tyres. I have to pay for the parts etc. I was charged $90 just for oil and filter. I asked if you can bring my own oil (not just to save money, I want to use high quality stuff), they said no, have to use theirs. it's a ripoff!

    These offers are pure gimmicks. Parts and consumable prices are inflated to subsidise cheap labour offer. They are never a bargain. Rep is just abusing the site reposting the same crap again even after getting negged to death.
