Dog Lovers Show Melbourne - Early Bird Discount

50
DOGFANS

I received this email because I purchased tickets online last year but I'm pretty sure anyone can use the code. Show this year is on 2 to 4 May.

Price drops after you enter code (e.g. from $20 to $16 for adult tickets). Price at door is $24.

Note, last year Ticketmaster sold tickets with 50% discount a few weeks before the show so you might wanna take a gamble that Ticketmaster will do the same this year :)

You can't bring dogs along - I don't get it either but I guess there are enough dogs inside the venue as it is!

    Discount 40%
e.g. from $20 to $16 for adult tickets

    That's only a 20% discount…

    • It's too late for mathematics.. :p
Email text said 40% so I regurgitated 40%.

Adult online price is $20, door price is $24.

    • I checked. Extract from email:

40% discount off the normal door prices

Does your dog get free entry?

        They still can't do mathematics. It's a third off, not 40%. $8 off $24.

  • Thanks, just bought two. =D

I love dogs, I really do - but I could never eat a whole one to myself.

Just a warning to parents with prams. There are no elevator lifts to the 2nd floor from what I recall from last years event. Staff will not assist you taking the flight of stairs so best to take someone along/light pram etc. Don't know why they relocated from Caulfield racecourse to Exhibition building!
Also they normally give out free tickets to better homes and gardens shows at the exit doors for those interested.

  • Is the show any good? What are your highlights?

    • I enjoyed last year's show. For me, it was watching the senior kelpies herd ducks with perfection, and then a young pup trainee kelpy decided to screw his training and happily picked up a duck in his mouth and ran around with it for awhile. Also enjoyed the talk by that chap who trains dogs to detect cancer. Wow.
