Has very poor reviews, most put it in the junk class!

3.2inches and 384 MB RAM- you're better off saving the $30 for a better phone and 50c for a soft serve at Maccas/HJ.

Forgive me for asking… what happened to the last 4 bucks?
      Your commission for giving advice?

      • Haha oops. Maths fail. Yes or get your self another 8 soft serves from HJs or another 13.33 from Maccas. Never too much icecream, feel free to buy me on as commission for giving advice though :p

review: This phone is so cheap and nasty, it is just a step up from a piece of paper with numbers written on it and just below two cups attached by a piece of string. Please do not get this phone even if they pay you to use it. Slow internet on wifi and 3G, rubbish camera, battery lasts well due to not being able to use most of the features. This phone is so embarrassing that my kids who are aged 5 and 10 put on a disguise when I take it out of my pocket.

This IS a good phone, nice for a backup

so a good cheap kids phone i can put an aldi sim into and due to lack of features the kids wont use it.

sounds like a good phone to me.

    • Good idea. According to tonyjzx , this phone may cause some damages on self-image as well…

    • +1. Just add Zello, use it with the home WiFi (within range, on your property) & it becomes a zero-cost walkie-talkie… use it to call kids-at-play to. meals, etc. & to let kids ask you Q's from play locations… etc. WITHOUT SHOUTING. ;-)

      • How does that work? How do you call someone over WiFi
        ?

  • This and all LG phones upto $200 are horribly slow and unresponsive
    I have bought L3 and L7 1 & II

They are all insanely slow even for the price $34
    L7 was also unusable

For kids is not an excuse.
For kids get a telstra roamer phone instead.
At least it doesn't go so slow that phones call drop out.

LG seems to choose to spend the majority on costly beautiful displays
but seriously skimp of processors and ram

  • We have had no problems with it. Good enough for simple phone and as a music player.

  • Any cheap ways to unlock it?

    • Pm bagman on here, $2.50 and VERY quick

  • works well as a music player. i put cyanogen 9 on it (android 4.0.2). in airplane mode battery lasts a week.
