Shame this promo has caused them to be sold out most times I visit my 7/11 store.
illumination on 12/06/2009 - 19:55 ¶Hey I think I saw this a few weeks back at my local 7/11 but I thought it was something regular.
I also reacted with "WOW so much cheaper than Krispy Kreme" and it looks so similar! Except.. it doesn't taste quite as nice. Maybe it means less sugar =)
+2 votesmmmm… day old, stale, plain doughnuts finished with bland coloured icing — yum, Krusty Kreme!
KKK since 1937 — when they say old, they really mean it — kind of ironic they don't make any donuts with 'cream' when that's part of the name.I think 7/11's are typically better — but it's a matter of luck scoring freshly delivered ones, same deal with Mr Donut in the supermarket.
Donut King, Dunkin' Donuts and the like are always fresh but so sugar loaded you may regret it later.bottom line is, good donuts need to be 'just made' — only the old school places like American Doughnuts and Spanish Churros (both at Queen Victoria Market) still do it that way — always excellent, not over-sweet, and great value — now if only the queues weren't so long…

So all this enthusiasm about $1 donuts yet nobody has mentioned the joy of occasionally finding a 12-pack of cinnamon donuts at Coles for $2? It makes for a healthy and nutritious dinner (since I usually go to Coles toward the end of the day) since there's no healthier food than a donut. In case you're not convinced, they're round so the fat rolls right off. If you want to lose massive amounts of weight, eat donuts and Fruit Tingles….

To the original poster, this is NOT the place to start racial comments. Personal viewpoints like that are yours and are not for here. I understand that sometimes people can make errors of judgement but if they persist then they really dont fit with this community..

They are really good, not as good as krispy kreme! But they are avail like everywhere and there only a $1! (is this a promotion or are they always this price?)
