Looking to get a new prepaid phome that has good signal and data. So far i am opting for virgins 29 cap that has $450 credit and 1gb data. As virgin is part of optus the signal and speed should be good? I had my work mate just jumped onto vodafone and he regrets it.
Any other telcos can anyone consider?
Is it true that all optus locked phones can use virgin sims?

Not looking good for Virgin / Optus today… but it's probably just temporary.
You can try TPG I have been with them for years.
Boost $40 prepaid is decent. Unlimited calls and texts, 2GB data. Downside is that it operates on 3G network instead of 4G. Telstra network though so good coverage. 3G speeds aren't that bad though when you consider them being consistent
