any glassware company can make it, but its different. Reidel is made in Austria and prides itself being the best looking and the best use glassware. Supposedly the glassware has been changed so that it makes the purpose even better eg decants better etc….personally I wouldn't spend that much but there is a massive market out there.

Im not going to vote negative … but …. DJs and Myers always have 30+% off on Riedel Glassware a lot of the time.
And if that's still too expensive Ikea have some good large size wine glasses at $4 ea
Halliday notes that decanters, such as the one posted, do not work. For a proper decantation of the wine, you'd need to put it a container that allows maximum air to hit the wine, such as something with the area of a saucepan or plate.

why do these cost so much? its just a piece of glass. any glasswares company could make this right?
