you wouldn't happen to know the PS3 deal would you?

      • It's $648 - no bundle, just the console.

  • Thanks TheGunslinger

  • Nice deal. My mother in law wants one. Ill tell her to go to Big W now

    • Sale starts on 2nd July, so might need to wait until then.

Otherwise, it looks like a good deal.

    • where did you get all that for $300. I'm heading to Asia. Wonder if its worth getting it from there?

    • Did you have any region issues with the games from Asia due to the PAL vs NTSC?

      • +1

I think he means the pirated ones you can get for $1 :)
You'll need to mod (softmod/hardmod) WII to run those

    • +3

plus there's probably no local warranty from overseas products, grey/parallel imports.

What a stupid comment. So you admit they go for $600 retail yet because you bought them from somewhere other than Australian retail then this isn't a deal? And even better comparing the game bundle to paying $1 for pirated games? lol.

      Lookout Mr_tightass, you have competition.

I am almost close to having seen it all I think.

      • "Lookout Mr_tightass, you have competition."
        Or a relative perhaps???

Nice argument there tightwad, while you are at it, why not STEAL the games? Then it will be $0, which equates to 100% saving from $1.

idiot dumbest and the most stupid comment i've ever seen on ozbargain so far…

this is australia here, you can't compare pirated $1 games from asia to those in australian shops
maybe link us genuine games in australia that we can PURCHASE for $1 without spending hundreds or thousands to go to asia…

seriously…sighh i don't even know what else to say

Talk about no sense of humour.

    The ;) means it's a joke. Whooooooooshhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

You get them at that price in the Golden Shopping Centre in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong. You have to shop around.

Yes, they are not under warranty here, but as they've been modified the warranty is meaningless anyway. They always show you them working before you buy them. Just say you live in HK if you want to avoid being scammed.

This may be an Australian message board, but some people go overseas and buy stuff! Hardly a stupid point. If it doesn't relate to you - get over it.

The point about them being $300 was pretty straight forward. They are not big and can be shipped around the world for very little. Why should Aussies pay DOUBLE? They should/could be cheaper. Make up your own mind.

You are hardly helping your cause.

Using your reasoning, I might put a new bargain up for pretty much every electronic/camera/mp3 device around and then tell everyone that you can get it cheapest by getting the Tourist Refund Scheme at the airport prior to flying overseas. Yep, that is as stupid as your suggestion.

I don't buy the sense of humour thing either.

      "Why should Aussies pay DOUBLE?"

I wouldn't buy it from Hong Kong anyway. You can never know what is genuine even if they say they are. For all you know, those wiimotes and nunchuks you got in your '$300 deal' could be fake. Yes there are such things as fake wiimotes and nunchucks. Google it. eBay is flooded with fake wiimotes and nunchucks coming from Hong Kong and China. Every single one from a Hong Kong or Chinese seller is fake regardless of whether they say it's genuine or not. I found out the hard way after buying one. Looks 95% the same until you notice how crap quality the build is (cheap plastic and rubber) and how dodgy the speakers are. Luckily I got my money back from PayPal and then I negged the seller. I'll stick to Australia and other reputable countries when buying electronics.

"This may be an Australian message board, but some people go overseas and buy stuff! Hardly a stupid point."

Actually that is still pretty stupid. Read the name of the site.

  • Xbox 360 Go Pro Bundle - $428

If thats true I'm out the door and getting it on the 2nd July. I've been waiting for a deal like this combining 360 Pro with Halo 3 and GOW 2. Awesome games. Hmm wonder if GAME or JB Hifi will do this deal if I show them.

  • A person I know works at BigW, and they have suggested that due to some stock bing in limited supply, you could go and layby the items you want now (I think it's a $2 fee per layby - which can include multiple items), then go and cancel the layby once the sale starts, and repurchase the goods. That way you won't have to relocate items in the store the day before the sale starts. (I've also heard that fishing tackle boxes are a great place to put items you might like to purchase once the sale becomes active!)

    • A lot of stuff still won't be there yet, mate.

  • sorry….stupid question…..does it mean we get the 2 nunchuks and 2 remotes? or just 1 nunchuk and 1 remote that comes with the console itself?

  • There's also Wii Fit and Active for 128$.

Wii Fit is usually 124$ at Big W, so not a bad price.

  • I saw Wii Fit going for $100 at Toys r Us last weekend.
