Barbeques advice

Can anyone give me some advice or direction on a good BBQ for $600-800?

Barbeques Galore has this one on sale for $699 normally a whopping $1399 but I can't find any reviews for it. http://www.barbequesgalore.com.au/products/product-view.aspx…

I went in to BBQs galore last month and they were pushing me towards their house brand "Beefmaster" which they say cooks a thick piece of steak quite well and can connect to natural gas. I also liked the glass window for when the lid is shut. http://www.barbequesgalore.com.au/products/product-view.aspx…

Masters has that 15% off right now, but the guy in BBQs galore was pretty much laughing at the stuff the hardware stores sell saying they don't get hot enough. They've got Weber there though and apparently Weber is the best?

Weber Family Q natural gas for $610? https://www.masters.com.au/product/100217477/weber-family-q-…

Any advice greatly appreciated.

You will not regret purchasing a weber.

I don't have the family q or natural gas, but got a Weber Q200 recently and it's easily the best BBQ I've owned. It's easy to clean and I've had great results with it thus far, although hood down cooking does take some getting used to.

besides weber, consider beefeater - similar/same quality but cheaper :)

  • Ok I might consider that Weber then. I'll see what the wife wants. I kind of wanted the storage underneath which the Weber doesn't have but I guess I could live without it?
