minimalist? Are you being sarcastic? It is enormous by mITX standards at 20 litres. Holds 7 hard drives, full-size ATX power supply, and full-height PCI cards. Its a tower!
And yet nowhere for a slim optical drive.
I think meant minimalistic in styling ie brushed aluminium with unobtrusive buttons. No wanky vents, perspex panels or even a hole for an optical drive. It is simply a 'cube'.
Okay, its really not that big.
What would you consider minimal in comparison?A mac mini. An Intel NUC. Not anything that takes 3.5" hard drives.
Really impressed by my (much larger) Cubitek. Full aluminium for the price of steel and plastic from most brands, came with plenty of accessories etc.
For anyone interested in a small mATX (not mini) case that fits 13" (33cm) graphics cards, I can recommend the Silverstone TJ08 http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&p… Not currently a bargain, but just giving recommendation to anyone looking to build a small system. Love the look of Cubitek
I've only ever seen this as $69 from PCCG it's only the "normally $99" that made me realise it was any other price. Good price for a nice miniITX case, so it get's a + from me.
