Baileys Irish Cream 700ml $20 @ Dan Murphy's

800

Went to grab some of the Johnnie Black that was advertised for $38 and also found out that Baileys was $20 per 700ml, so I picked up a case.

Enjoy!

Edit 12/5: Showing $22.85 now, still cheap but marked as expired.

so I picked up a case.

    a case ????

yo JV, is the mystical Thirsty Camel bailey's deal still on? BTW, A case = a six pack for Baileys.

      • +1

Nah, it finished yesterday… It was only for 1 though…

    • Maybe he doesn't like baileys and got a case of beer instead :)

    • +4

First time I agree. A case?

      • +2

        6 bottles in a box

        • Exactly as Brezzo stated, it even says this on the Dan Murphy's page: $120.00 per case of 6…

  • +1

    What is the normal price?

    • +3

Most are selling it for about $25 at the moment.

    • +4

Normal price is around $30, although a lot of places have it on special for $25 at the moment.

Sipping some Feeney's now and tastes very similar to baileys a bargain at $12.50

    • +2

      Cheers! Bought a case.

      • How did you buy a case of Feeny's at that price? The deal TA posted for it states a limit of two bottles per person. How'd ya manage a case?

        Well done regardless :)

    • Says 19.90 on the DM site…

    • I've bought Feeney's at around $13/bottle as well. It tastes so close to Bailey's that I don't buy the latter anymore.

    • Nothing tastes like Baileys

    • Missus drinks it with milk. I managed to easily wean her onto O'Mara's, she reckons it tastes the same. Great for me because it's cheaper than Baileys. There is an even cheaper version called Erin Cream - it tastes like absolute crap. To me it tastes like scotch and milk - not that I've ever had the 2 mixed together. There's a reason there's dust all over the bottles of Erin Cream.

Thanks OP, heading to Dan's for some Baileys.

    • Out of curiosity, what is your best before date on the Feeney?

      • I bought one of both flavours. The Crème Brûlée expires very soon next month, so we'll have that tonight, but the Irish Cream Liqueur expires next year August I believe.

  • Cheers OP. Any code for free delivery without having to spend $300?

        • google bro

Thanks mate. Appreciate it. I am in Sydney hope it works

Just tried it. It worked. Bought 3 bottles. Thanks again

      • Thanks OP for posting this deal.
Thanks andysa for the DMWEL0514 code. Ordered 2.

How do people have their Baileys? On the rocks?

    • +2

      from a shoe

    • But seriously, on ice is amazing.

    • +5

Also try on some ice cream or mixed with milk and ice

      • +1

+1 for ice and a wee bit of milk, personally.

I find it too harsh (alcohol burn wise) if I don't dilute it a tad with milk. The downside of that of course is losing the richness of pure Baileys. Still tastes delicious though. Plus adding milk = makes the drink last longer lol.

For those who are more accustomed to drinking neat spirits, diluting it may be sacrilege, though :)

        • Nah, that's why I have it on ice. The water dilutes it as the ice melts. I'll have to try it on milk however.

    • +1

Yep. Or with ice coffee or flavored milk or ice cream for me

    • Straight, just above freezing.

      I make co*k sucking Cowboys ;)

      • +1

I grabbed some Bacchus Butterscotch Schnapps from Aldi for $9.99 a bottle and Baileys for $22.99 - both 700ml bottles so I got me enough for a rodeo of cowboys!

        • I saw that $9.99 one as well, is it any good?
most people recommend the $30 one (De Kuyper), but that's pretty expensive.

    • Put a splash in morning coffee. Otherwise on the rocks after dinner.

Er… That link says $29.45, and delivery only.

      • It comes up as available at my local at Hyde Park - North Perth
but you're right - $29,95 isn't that great. Posting at 6 am isn't the brightest idea

        • Sorry, I meant that the price was delivery only. The in store price is $32.95 here.

  • They sell 2 * 1L bottles duty free for $60

How in the heck can DM sell it for the same price unless the duty free shops are making an absolute killing?

    • +4

duty free in Sydney airport is a rip off on just about everything

      • Only buy premium shit from Sydney airport. Only thing which wont go on sale at DM.

    • Either a deal with the supplier, or they are simply making a loss. Or duty free is a rip off.

  • Anyone tried the new choc lux flavour?

    • No, only because it's too damn expensive to try. $30+ for 500mL and an even lower alcohol content than original Baileys.

      But I'm stingy…

    • yum - free tastings at westfield doncaster past few weeks :)

  • none at my local DM. just some letter of apology that not in stock. wasted 10km worth of fuel. not happy at all.

    • @Logical
None at my local so did "click and collect" and it set the pick up for 7 days, will see what happens…

      • Interesting got a txt first thing this morning saying order was ready :)
