    I'm interested in the merino wool jumpers/cardigans too - but a bit wary about buying without seeing first. Are you able to comment on whether the sizing for these run small or large?

    I normally wear small, just thinking whether it would be advisable to go XS or M instead… (I like a snug fit over relaxed/loose).

      The merino jumpers run true to size - i'd say go with your usual size :) The model wears a size Large in the photo, he's about 6'2 and 90kg :)

        "The model wears a size …, he's about ..'.." and ..kg" This is just an incredibly incredibly helpful thing to quote when selling items online. You should do it on everything. Gives such a better idea of sizes vs. a size chart and would give me heaps more confidence buying stuff, as fit is so often an issue for me (6'3" 86kg)

      I have a merino v-neck in XS from a previous sale, I'm 5'9"/63 kgs with a 90cm chest, XS fit is perfect (snug, not tight).

        DUDE OMG, how old do you think I am?
        No the manjeggings were basically drawstring "stylish" trackpants - but look IDENTICAL to jeans. Hence "jeggings" - people can often not tell the difference between the 2 except they are super comfortable and hang differently

        Black Seal Malibu or whatever they were called.

    Quality of chinos is very poor. One came with broken button, the other one came off after first wear.

        For the price, the Chinos are pretty good. I have 6 from here and apart from the black fading to this purplish colour (probably due to washing and maybe in direct sunlight to dry), the rest hold up well.

      Yes think they can make some improvements on the chinos. they look a bit cheap. that said I love the merino sweaters, great value.

      I've bought 4 pairs of chino's from Hallensteins. Two pairs had their crotch torn the first time I wore them. One of the others, I've worn almost weekly for the last year. The others I got just a couple of weeks ago, but they're fine thus far.

      Everything else I've bought from them has been fantastic quality, the chinos do seem hit or miss though.

      Not to mention, their shipping times and customer service are about as good as it gets in my experience.

      People are still wearing cardigans - but you could go with either :)

      We have a couple of versions - we have some wool blend ones for $27.99 (which are 50% wool, 50% polyester) or 100% merino wool (a really fine wool but super warm) for $35.99 :)

      Hey there, either the Dakota Chinos or the Brooklyn Chinos - the Brooklyn is our standard chino, the Dakota is a bit more of a fashion style with a lower crotch, elastic waist and elastic cuffs - but they're my favourite pair of pants to wear

      The only problem is our Dakota is running a bit short on stock at the moment in some colours :/

    Nice deal. I just grabbed a merino jumper.

    Just some feedback. The payment page has an Amex logo on it, but when I tried to use my card it gave me an error saying that Amex is not accepted. I'm happy to use my Visa, but it would be a good idea to remove that logo.

    I bought like 4 chinos last time , 2 different cuts but all the same size. Its weird that one colour fits good but the other one is very tight. This is the same cut and same size with just a different colour . Was very dissapointed

      Depends on your fashion sense really - Hallenstein Brothers is a fast fashion retailer - it is on trend with a lot of youth trends and is on the money when it comes to suits and tailoring. We do have some garments that push the envelope, but we also have a lot of stuff that is reasonably conservative as well :)

      Our stuff is definitely not out of style and all of it is current season

          The word skinny can put a few people off, but in my opinion these chinos are a nicer fit than the Boston Slim as they have a bit of stretch in them.

          This means that you can get a pair that are really tight (see gold or grey image - this model fits our 34 but he's in a 32 in these shots) or they can be a bit looser (see teal, that model is a size 31/32 waist and he's wearing a 32)

          Me personally, i'm 6'1 and 105kg - i have big legs but these (and the Dakota) are still my favourite pants. I'm not a big fan of walking around looking like my pants are spray painted on either! haha

      You can return anything up to 365 days after purchase as long as it's not worn and still in saleable condition - regardless of reason :)

      With Australian purchases we will just refund straight away, if you're looking for an exchange we get you to purchase the new item (we'll sort it out so you don't get charged freight etc)
