Motorola Moto X 16GB $438 in Store @ JBHIFI

50

Just saw this in store at JB Hifi, down from $499 to $438. Same price for the black or white.

I know this may not the best bargain for such a phone. But I would see this is a bargain for anyone that is interested in getting one of these (like me… ;-)).

Not sure when it ends.

  • Looks great.

    adding wireless charging internally

but, i am stuck with nexus 5 and logitech +drive car mount.
cant get any better set up with these 2.

    • That is awesome. :D

nexus 5 16GB for 418.99$ with bigger full HD screen is better deal

    • Moto's battery kills Nexus. 6-7 Hrs on screen time easily.

      • That'll be the AMOLED screen. A big plus over LCD on the Nexus, IMHO.

  • OnePlus One…. :p we can wait :)

    • You will be waiting a while then

  • I just bought an LG G2 16GB for $499/- from Allphones

    http://www.allphones.com.au/hot-offers/lg-g2.asp#

and then applied for $50/- cashback from LG.

So works out to $449/- for a 16GB LG-G2, which I think is a better deal due to better screen, camera and battery life.

    • You should get LG G2 32gb from TGG for $529.00 so additional 16gb for another $30.00 … Unless you want white as tgg sells black - also eligible for $50 cashback.

    • did you get the cash back from LG? i applied in April 1st week, yet to get it.

  • I would've bought one of these in a heartbeat on release, but not now. Too little too late, Motorola. Still, not too bad a deal for AU stock from a reputable store.

  • I went to pick up a black one, they only had white left (JB Camberwell, VIC) and offered it for $399 no questions.

So I suspect you could easily haggle to this price if you want one - nice to get beneath the psychological $400 mark

  • For the price, why go for this compared to other similar priced phones like Xperia Z etc

The most distinguishing features I can think of would be the always listening mode, the active notifications and the smaller physical size. It also has very little in the way of a skin, so general performance is pretty fluid since it isn't burdened by all the crap other OEM's stuff into their phone. It's all about preference really.
