Browsing internet on Sony 'SMART TV'

I'm browsing Internet on Sony TV but when I try to click to watch a flash video, it says, 'Not enough memory to perform this operation'. Why does this message appear? Can someone please answer this? Thanks

  • I can't watch flash video on my samsung smart TV either. I was trying to watch the F1 practice on a well known streaming website, but the video just hangs on the TV.

Smart TV's are much dumber than even the crappiest android stick. I cant understand why they can market a tv with a feature that is pretty much broken. My Panasonic st50 smart TV is useless in this respect, but I was always going to use the ps3 for my "smart" requirements. My samsung smart home theatre also displays a similar level of dumbness as my TV.

Some of the flash requirements are avoided using the specific app on the TV, which uses a transcoded site of the real site (or some-such), like iView etc (which is why they count for metered content for a usually unmetered source).
