There's no multiplayer, it's too sentimental, the ending sucks but otherwise it's fun. I wouldn't pay any more than $40 for it though.
The first two points you make are pluses for me. I hate when they shoehorn weak multiplayer into every title; just makes me wish that development time/money was spent on the single player campaign.

The benefits of a single player only game, theres no rush to buy it - short of having a story line spoiled for you. Theres no passing multiplayer crowd to "get in with" before they move onto the next game.
I think I feel genuinely depressed missing out on such a good deal. I wasn't even planning on grabbing this game any time soon, but that price.. damn.
Go see a doctor. Depression is not something you should take lightly.
Personally, I'll be waiting for this to be $20 in a bargain bin. Doesn't look like it will take too long.
I just don't get the business case for selling the game this cheap. They're selling the game below well cost, and you don't even have to go to a DSE store, or even their website (in the hope you'll pick up something else at the same time).
Big W sells games below cost but makes you walk through the entire store to get to where they keep them to make it back on high margin products. What's DSE's game plan here? I understand they're probably trying to push up sales for a share offer, but surely it's no good if each sale is a loss?
