Stella Artois Lager Cans 24x 500mL $35.00- Fully Imported <QLD>

510

Best price I have seen to date on 500ml Stella Artois Can's $35.00 for 12 Litres of the good stuff.
Expiry on mine is in August 2014

$2.92/Litre, it also works out at roughly $24/carton of 330ml bottles.

As far as I can tell is is QLD only, have tried a few stores near Brisbane and most have stock. But have a look around. My local had a container load of cartons(Sumner Park)

(From Website)
Fully Imported! Stella Artois has been brewed in Leuven, Belgium since 1926 and first began it's life as a special seasonal beer brewed only for the Christmas period in Canada! The beer proved so popular, that the Den Horen Brewery began to produce this crisp, clean and refreshing lager all year round. Now exported throughout the world, you can once again enjoy fully imported Stella Artois in cans

one review reads…… Cons: taste of tin prevails, and covers up the real taste of the brew

  • tempted to buy a single can to try (then grab a slab)

  • Also, only $10 per six pack, or $2 for singles

  • $62.99 for VIC too

  • I am in QLD and it is showing as $62.99?

    • FNQ by any chance?

    • Just bought two here in Townsville. $70

    Available in Woollongabba for $35.

Unfortunately I have about 8 cartons of homebrew to drink, will have to pass.

Cheers. I was just at Holland Park and they had no cartons left, just single cans. The attendant was kind enough to ring Sunnybank and they are also out of cartons, just singles. I just placed an order for Pickup & Collect for the Gabba store, hopefully they have cartons in stock as you say.

      • Interesting. I just put in an order online to be picked up at Holland park 2mins ago. Hope the order wont be rejected due to low stock.

    • Thats it Gecko, the peeps will never understand. Home brew is better

I'm fairly bitter this deal isn't available in WA

    • +2

Same. I was frothing at the thought of this being available in VIC.

Only catch is best before date is 05/06/2014 which is tomorrow.
I know because I just bought one from woolloongabba.
The store rep said it should be ok for couple of weeks as it's mandatory
To put 12 months expiry date on beers as per law.i m bit concerned so if anyone wants one they can pick up from coorparoo.

A fellow Coorparoo-ee, that likes beer! We should plan a Coorparoo OzBargain meetup. With beer.

      • Plan the meet at the easts leagues this weekend.

        • I've never been to Easts Leagues Club, whats it like? Have you been to the RSL here? I went to the bowls club for their Cider Sunday thing and that was alright, but still expensive.

        • Easts is a good place to have beer & food. Its cheap to buy tap beer & food compared to other local pubs. Its got good ambience as well.

        • Only $2 (annual) membership too, and you get that back as soon as you order a meal ($2 discount on food for members) :D

    $39 in bws perth WA

    • Ia that the 500 ml cans? Where?

      • It's all BWS in WA not sure it's Australia wide . 24x500ml 5% fully imported from Belgium

    • thanks bro got the last two on shelf , lucky my $40 Becks 500ml just ran out

  • I picked up a slab for $35 at first choice (in Cairns) after they price matched, but noticed their fully imported product was actually brewed in the UK. Also 4.8% instead of 5%. Missing that 0.2% of alcohol :(

  • Just cleaned out Robina, they had 2 cases left.
    This is an awesome deal.

  • Wanted to order a case last night from Woollongabba but was only allowed to order a 6 pack due to low stock for $10. I went for it and am just drinking one now. I have to say while it is a great price the taste of the can spoils its crisp aroma. Shame. Never "can" again. Glad I couldn't order the case.

  • Gotta love click and collect. Was going to chance it and just call in. Lucky I did click and collect and apparently I got the last two cases. Nice. Thanks Ozb and dbadcock op.

  • Was told I got the last 5 cases on the Gold Coast. Quality OP!

  • Don't forget if Dan Murphy's is out of stock you can get a price beat from First Choice. Picked up a couple of these for myself at $34.90 from First Choice yesterday. The store attendant could barely believe it and said he'd be picking up some for himself when he finished his shift. As simon75 mentioned earlier, at First Choice they were selling the UK brewed cans with 4.8% alcohol. I can't stand drinking them out of the can myself; I'd recommend pouring into a glass or stein!
