  • Nice Find OP !

  • Can anyone verify if this in fact 1080p or just 1080i? The description on the product's page does not specify.

    • Pretty sure it's the same one that Aldi sold. Lots of people had issues so they sent back for refund, and now other companies resell the fixed ones.

      Full HD.

      • Thanks for the confirmation. Worth risking refurbs for the price?

        • No idea, I'm wondering this too…

    • According to this site, it's 1080p - http://www.esold.com.au/31-5-full-hd-led-lcd-tv.html

  • I can't make up my mind. I guess I better not, I don't have room for more junk. Night all.

Edit: It's a good deal though, if you are in the market for a cheap LCD.

  • Thanks for the heads up. Grabbed one for $171.15 (with 15% discount).
And to think I nearly got one of those 32" TV's from BigW (they only had 1366 x 768 resolution).

as if you would see the difference between Full HD and HD on a screen that size. At least the BigW one carries the full warranty, and would be much easier to return in say a year with warranty coverage.

      • That's logical :-)

  • No mention of warranty… :(

Even dodgy graysonline comes with 3 months.

Not worth the risk imo - esp with a unit known to have faults.

    • There's some info under the Warranty tab:

We offer our own 12 month warranty against defects on all new (I dunno if that covers refurbished) electrical, petrol operated or motorised products. For warranty details see our Terms and Conditions

      • Refurb is NOT new…

I bought one of these and returned it the next day. They are garbage, unless you just want a cheap TV for the kids room or something.

The image looked like an upscaled 720 HD.

The kids would reject this TV as well, unless they are like under 22 months old.

  • good price. my medion TV is going strong after 14 months. only complaints are the limited usb playback and the average digital tuner.

my soniq tv plays everything. the medion doesn't play some formats.
the soniq picked up stations with the 30 year old antenna on my house.
I needed a new antenna with the Medion. though granted, the antenna was falling apart and needed constant repairs and reallignment and was trouble for my previous NEC tv so not so much of a problem with the TV.

  • Thanks for the code MISSUJUN, it worked for me geting some furniture with only $2 delivery.

  • If you managed to buy this, I advise you to check the analogue PC input VGA
20% of the right hand side of the screen is missing for both my units.
