It is $399 in TGG. But where does it say 5 years australia warranty? AFAIK, it is ony 2 years warranty with Canon.

      • Why would Canon provide warranty for a Sigma lens?

        • Oops, my bad. Mixed up with the camera. :P

      • +5

        3 years warranty from Holden.

    • Hi there,

  • Hi Rep,

Any deals on these lens below:
    -Canon 10-18mm IS STM
    -Tamron 10-24mm
    -Tamron 18-270mm VC

  • I have this lens, bought June last year, if you do not like lens creep do not buy a Sigma Lens, this purchase was made to use as a travel lens now fitted to a Canon 70D (previous camera was a 30D) wanted to replace my older 18-250 Sigma lens with a filter size of 72mm in diameter, the lens creep was terrible, warranty was out of the question as it was bought in HK. My 62mm lens bought from this vendor is as bad as the heavier glass model, Had it back to Kennedy under warranty, apart from being treated like someone from Mars they did not fix it. We can send men to the moon, and all sort of wonderful things but not a multipurpose lens that extends at a rapid rate the minute you hold it in a downward position to take a photo on a tripod. Lens lock only works when fully retracted

    • Would you recommend getting the Tamron 18-270mm VC then as a travel lens? Its only ~$50 more than the Sigma.

        Hi grab
prior to getting involved with the Sigma lenses I had a Tamron 18-200 lens purchased 2007. It also had lens creep gave it back to Ted's they send it away, came back and no more trouble, I wish still had the lens. cannot vouch for the current range so Google and see what comes up.
In a weeks daily use you will know if they are any good. Also have a Canon 24-105, EW-83H lens, just not practical to take overseas as its heavy. no creep with it, rock solid. If you are going to buy the Tamron would be interested how it performs. good luck
btw I am not having a go at CW. they are a good vendor and delivery was prompt.
