  • Seems awesome…though I already got the note 8 with 4G using bing lee to get a discount from officeworks (at around $330)…this tab 3 would be better just cause it is cheaper.

    • Apart from the pen what is the difference between the Note and the Tab?

      • +1

The GALAXY Tab 3 is not as wide physically.

      • +1

Note 8 has quad core processor, this is dual core.

      • Note 8 has 2GB ram, Tab 3 only has 1.5GB ram.

I have a Note 10 and hardly use the S-pen, so up to you….

      • note can make cell call,,,, note 10 can, not sure note 8

        • So the tab 3 cant? I thought it can…

  • the Galaxy Tabs are complete contrary to the galaxy phone line instead of using new tech it goes backwards and throws ancient dual cores inside new coats of plastic and call it a day

  • Be smarter than I was, if you are looking to get The Good Guys to sell this to you and refund 120% of the difference between the list price of $497 on its web site and Bing Lee's price.

I bought it from the TGG online this morning, and then sent a Price Beat Guarantee claim with a timestamped screenshot. The store called me to tell me I will get the device on Monday, and I asked about the status of the Price Beat Guarantee claim. They said they haven't received it yet, and when I gave them the URL for Bing Lee's sale price, they only offered to refund the price difference, but not 120% of that, because they have not yet dispatched the item even though my credit card has already been charged, and as far as I am concerned the purchase transaction is complete.

No, thanks, if I wanted to pay $266 for it I'd have gone to Bing Lee. They can keep it (since I was really of two minds about buying it, and only the prospect of getting it for less than $200 after getting GST on the item back swayed me).
