Crown Gift Card - 20% Discount on $100 Vouchers + Free shipping - VIC, PER

760
ENTBK

Entertainment™ Members enjoy a Crown $100 value
Gift Card for only $80
But you'll need to be quick. This offer is only available until July 9, 2014, and is subject to availability.

Meant to be for Entertainment members but crown doesn't do any checks to see if you are a entertainment book member.

Just ordered two, but had to put 1x$100 gift at a time…
Free to pick it up from Crown Hotel or $10 to post.

Stack it with the Entertainment card @ places like Silks, No 8 and the effective discount rate becomes 40% of RRP. (x * 0.75 * 0.8 = 0.6x)

EDIT: I bought it when they were charging for postage. As at 4:15pm, they are no longer charging for shipping of the cards. Nice!

EDIT2: Was going to buy more for myself as I only got two… only to realise that it is now sold out…

    ehhh 20% discounted casino chips?

Those are some extravaganza diners and bars. Not so much bargain even if with 20% discount.
Tho might be a good idea if you have upcoming $$$ spending event. e.g) Someone's birthday

    • Yes and No.
Yes, you could use it in places like heston blumenthal's fat duck when they open early next year. It would be hard to get any sort of discount from fat duck.
No. There are decent priced ones like $40 two course at sliks after discounts (20%+25% entertainment book), you end up paying $24. You can easily spend for a meal at a pub down the road.

  • Hi OP… Great deal..
How can I get a Entertainment card. Thanks so much.

    • You need to buy the entertainment book (digital or hard copy) at $65.00.
      http://www.entertainmentbook.com.au

Some of them are cheaper than $65 but depends on which book you buy.

    • +1

isnt it just a generic code? so you dont really need to have an entertainment card?

      • correct. no need to have entertainment card

    • I bought mine from gumtree for $50.
This is meant to be for entertainment book members but it's generic code for everyone

  • OP or other people who has entertainment book, do see 'conservatory' discount in the entertainment book? what is the offer for conservatory? thanks

    • There's no offer for the conservatory in the Entertainment Book.

    • not sure if I mentioned conservatory…

  • Can it be stacked with entertainment card discounts? Usually there are T&Cs that say it can't be used in conjunction with any other offer.

    • Gift cards may be used in conjunction with your Entertainment™ Membership.

  • So if you can only buy one at a time and you need to get it delivered, you can only get a maximum $10 off each $100 gift card. Darn it.

    • Pick up for free.

    • +2

      Shipping is free now

  • +1

Shipping went through as free for me, perhaps they have updated this?

  • Does anyone know how long the expiry of these cards are? Couldn't find it on the page/in the t's & c's.

    • +1

      12 months

  • Thank you for the post OP, and guys, any advise on the good restaurant to try out? Is Conservatory nice?

I had been to Nobu before, and i like it… haven't try any others… Any recommendation? Thank you :)

    • +1

Silk is the new chinese one and quite liked it but the price is on expensive side. (Had $88 pp lunch)
      No 8 is also good.
Bistro Guiilaume is one hat spot (i think) has two course for $50 during lunch.

Best value (especially if you have children) is mesh where they have free for children on sundays. 2 adults and 2 children can enjoy their buffet for $66 all up if you stack this and entertainment card.

      • Thank you for the info super bass

      • Superbass, are you referring breakfast $33 per adult at mesh? I went to website, adult lunch buffet on Sunday is $59.50, so for two adult will be $119 before discount.
Edit: oh I get it, need to stack entertainment book plus the gift card.

  • I take it you could use multiple cards for your accomodation to make up the balance?

  • Do you know if you have to use the whole $100 at once, or can you spend $60 then use the other $40 at another visit? Otherwise good value!

  • @superbass apparently they have updated a new promotional code - you have to click on the initial link to find the updated code. could you please provide us with the code? thanks heaps! :)

    • I just logged into the entertainment book website and it still says the code is ENTBK so I assume that it was crown gifts which stopped the code from being used.

I guess they hit their limit and the offer ran out. Personally, me and my family ended up with 20 x $100 gift cards so we happy (although I would have gotten one more myself to make it 5).

      • I rang up Crown Perth and that's what they told me though. :S

I am also an Entertainment Book holder but I did not get such email.

  • Thanks OP. I love staying at Crown so these are much appreciated. I am also an Entertainment member but didnt know about the offer. Hopefully I got in before it cut off (no email confirmation yet). Cheers

  • +4

The new code is ENTMEM80. I just used it for 6 transactions

    • Thanks, worked a treat, bought another 5 to stock up for next use!

  • Thanks. Just bought 3 and used it for my husbands birthday dinner :)

  • I believe it's been Ozbargained! There's no longer a promotions link to it and the code no longer works. My friend just tried.

    • Damn, so even the NEW code not working. Oh well.

    • Yeah, neither codes work.
      Nooooo! :(

  • Anyone get them in the mail yet? Nothing to my Melbourne address yet and I bought then on Monday.

    • No - melboune too and still waiting…bought on Monday also.

      • Still nothing here and it is 7 days (5 working) since my initial order. Anyone else waiting or got them?

        • Nothing here too, Melbourne also.

        • i received mine yesterday (monday)

        • Today (Tuesday) I got four out of the five. The fifth one was ordered a day after the initial four so I guess I'll get it tomorrow.

        • @danielh: Got my fifth one as well the other day and my sister got all 15 of hers.

  • +1

    Received mine today.

Gift card was posted using Express post service. So, they only started processing these purchases since monday 14/07.
