My recent experience of the C restaurant has been well …so so. It is certainly not what it was when it was Highlight 33 (I think) but this is still a ok deal. as I guide based on my last experience I would pay $25 per head for the food and $30 for the view for a three course meal. And then drinks on top. That would be fair value ..but was a long way from what I was charged!

  • My experience with the C restaurant wasn't very pleasant either. It was my gf's birthday and during my booking I had ensured that my gf's dessert will be served with a sparkler candle thingy. I even made sure they wrote it down on the computer.

Guess what? The table behind us got theirs and not ours. Food was meh.

    The view was spectacular.

Well, Pay for what you think its worth. So may not necessarily be a bargain - unless you decide to pay less than what its actually worth.

    Not a bad find though.

  • I used to eat there occasionally for lunch. It was mostly tourists or locals with a 2-for-1 deal from a discount book.
They had a few nice-enough lunches for less than $30 on the menu, so $15 each in reality. Wine was from about $9/glass.

So take that as a guide. 50% off the "list price" is routine.

OTOH, dinner gets very expensive, and they have (had?) two sittings, you can not choose a time. And if you go early you must leave early.

    • They gave me and my girlfriend 1.5 hours to finish our dinner. I didn't know dinner had a time limit until I visited the C Restaurant.

  • Well, you can pay less than it's worth. I'd probably pay $10 based on my recent experience. Not bad for a lunch!
