    For anyone looking for a real nice wireless KB and Mouse set, I just bought one of these Logitech MX800 packs for $119.04.

    Shelf price was labelled $179 due to a current Catalogue sale. The box also had a yellow $179 sticker. It will scan at the register at $138.60 but the Logitech deal is actually "30% off the ticket price" so you should be able to argue for $125.30 (i.e. 30% off $179).

    Furthermore, if you have the 5% bonus code, you get the price down to $119.04.

    Bargain. MSY are selling these for $140.

    This is why I don't like Ozbargain…:)… After few hours battle finally bought this 75" TV.. UA75H6400..

  • I placed 1 order for the samsung 75inch this afternoon. Got the order confirmation from JB, then went to Jb website to find out that the order status is CANCELLED.
    Placed another order, got confirmation again, then check JB website again, Canceled AGAIN!!!
    They took the money from my credit card and my account twice! What should i do'? Any of you has the same issue?

      Ring customer service, they will refund you, get them to try ringing your local store to hold the tv for you.

      No surprise about being charged twice though… you did order AND pay twice.

      Please let us know the reason JB give for the order having a cancelled status.. it might be a common occurrence.

    • Ticket prices are often marked incorrectly in store so much so that I walk around with my phone on the JB site and search them to see what the correct price is titles nearly always scan at the online price

      • I saw it online before going in, got the girl at the counter to scan it, scanned at $31.98, showed her the online price and she put it through as 19.98-20%, I think the price online is incorrect so I suggest if anyone wants a copy grab it as soon as possible…

    • Have you asked in store ? I think someone commented above that they were told they could come in by Sunday and get same price, on the 5 years interest free.
      And JB have another big sale on this Sunday..

      • I asked in store at 3x separate locations in Adelaide and the best price they could do was $4600. Silly me thought the price lasted till Sunday :(

        Very interested in picking one up in Adelaide if anyone knows of a store that is willing to do the $3k pricetag…

        • I went to my local good guys before picking it up, spoke to a great bloke (I don't class him as a salesman because he was honest, nice and wasn't pushy) he told me that they were $800 out on the price and they didn't know how JB were doing it.

          So if The Good Guys cost price is $800 away from Jb's and keeping in mind that the good guys had it advertised for $4989 meaning they could've given a maximum $1189 discount on their price which is huge.

          Any way thought if your still interested you might be able to use this info to your advantage, knowing they pay $3800 for the tv and they need to make a few bucks off it.

        • I'm in the same boat as you… thought it lasted till Sunday so wanted to go into store the next day and try to get a free delivery out of it and I screwed myself out of a TV :(
          Lesson learnt!

  • Does anyone else who ordered the Samsung 75" online still have their status sitting at 'Pending' even though the funds have been withdrawn from their account?

    • I spoke to the guy from JB yesterday (ordered in store but he called me to let me know what was up) they only ordered 13 additional stock for the country for a first batch that should arrive for the start of August (around the 5th) but there will be a larger second batch a few days after possibly up to the 11th of August.

      He did stress that head office are known for giving a couple of days leeway in case anything happens.

  • JB just cancelled my order for the Samsung TV because of security reason, they cant process transaction from my acc???

    • If you really want the tv then contact them about it, security concerns sounds like an issue with your payment method. Possibly the bank cancelling the transaction for some reason. It could also be that you've spent above your daily limit (I've done this before, bought something online from JB then gone shopping. Spent close to my daily limit and then my JB order was cancelled).

      If you contact JB and offer a different payment method then they should be able to process it for you, if they won't honour the sale price then you should contact the ACCC.

      No offence meant in this at all but this is exactly why I prefer to do big transactions in store whenever possible, this and the fact that I can go in to the store and they can't try and give me a bullsh*t 'you purchased from the online store so we can't help you with warranty, you need to contact them'.

  • Has anyone checked their order status for the Samsung 75 inch TV? I did a few days ago and the status has changed from Pending to Cancelled. This was after they took my money, told me they had received the order and telling me my registration was successful and the delayed delivery mail posted before. I asked them what was going on and they said that they sent a verification email that I didn't reply to. I have looked and did not get this email. Did anyone else get a verification email?
    Smells fishy?
