My wife hinted she wanted this box set while we were in JB HiFi the other day. JB had it for $259 ish. Today at
JB due to 20% off it's down to $207. Amazon UK have the same set (albeit region 2) for 32 pounds + shipping. On checkout I was actually charged 26.67 +
3.58 pounds for shipping, grand total 30.25 pounds. This is $56.85 AUD!

There will highly likely be a season 10 to wrap up the whole Bauer storyline (plot in Russia, w/ Tony & Logan returning) just like they did with the Chinese one in LAD, then they will reboot the series with the new characters introduced. The entire concept can feel overused since it started back in 2001, but for some reason it's still so gripping & entertaining to watch than the other crap that's on TV these days (good shows are few & far between) IMHO. Hope it never ends!

Yes even the 720p web-dl is superior as i tested it against the dvds
these are NOT upscales but neither are they bluray
If you want a legal web-dl than use usa itunes

How exactly do you play Region 2 discs? I'm thinking about getting this, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to play it.
A lot of DVD players have the ability to be made "region free" through a number of presses on the remote. Maybe Google your model to see if it is possible.
The other option if you are using a computer for playback, maybe a software like Slysoft AnyDVD which allows you to playback from all regions amongst other things.
Best TV show hands down.
Most modern (non-computer) DVD players are region free (or can be made region free with simple input sequences on the remote control). Google your player model with "region free" to see if it can easily play other regions. Most Sony and Samsung players are regionless afaik

Jack, and the rest of the series lost all credibility with me when he bailed out of a plane on top of an A-bomb over the Nevada desert in one of the early series.
But I guess it all gets back to how willing you are too suspend your disbelief.

I wonder if the nail has been put in the 24 coffin? I'm sure they will release the 1-9 box set plus Redemption. Then when you think you have the definitive full collection, Fox will un-nail the coffin and season 10 will born and the cycle starts again.
I am waiting for… 24 to die completely and Bluray collector set released.
