  • you're obligated to send it to the guy who bought it.
if you didn't want to post to germany you should have put it in the item description.

So you've messaged the german guy about the concerns and he hasn't responded?

  • yeah some stores especially skincare and perfumes refuse to ship to German. Things always get delayed and even destroyed

  • I've sent to Germany using Aust Post Pack & Track International. All good, no problems.

  • Without knowing all the details its hard to advise.

If the prices bid were quite cheap and you are paying shipping, then I understand the german persons bid.

If they were normal and they are paying for the shipping, it maybe a scam, unless of course they dont know about Australia Post's outrageous shipping costs.

If they are paying for the post and didnt know what those are, have you advised them of that cost? Maybe if you can mention that if they dont want to pay those costs you will let them cancel their bid, they may be thinking they are bound by their bid, so are reluctant to mention this.

If they are paying over the odds for the total shipment, then this maybe a scammer at work, who claims that the games are faulty and requests ebay to refund their money. Check their rating and number of transactions they have made. If their english is not good, unless the games are multiple language versions that also maybe a flag for a scam.

In the future given Aust posts prices limit your auctions to Australia only
