Nice headphones. I picked up a set on the eBay deal a few weeks back for $129 inc del. via DSE. They sound great for the money with excellent detail and superb build quality but they can be uncomfortable for long periods as they are the 'on ear' type and the headband is quite stiff. I'm not game enough to bend the headband just yet. I also like how the cord is detachable and you can substitute the phone audio control cable with the also supplied plain cable.

    • Bought them during the DSE/eBay sale as well

Don't find them uncomfortable, even when wearing glasses (just need to put headphones on first, then glasses on second) but find it a little bass heavy with recessed mids.

Note the volume control doesn't work for Android phones, only iOS. The start / stop button does work however

  • I noticed as well they have a few other colors for about $2 more. I recently got a pair of the HD598's so cant really justify purchasing these, but desperately want a pair (or the Quincy Jones AKGs)

  • Are these any good? I have Audio Technica AD700, AKG K242HD & beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO if anyone can say how it compares to any of those?

    • They are like a very sturdy, portable, far less comfortable version of the DT770's with slightly less sound quality. With your current set-up, i would pass on these unless you're desperate for a portable pair, but then I would just save a bit more and get the larker brother of these, the circum-aural model here: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-505760-Momentum-Headphone-B…

  • Doesn't say the size of the drivers.
