Hi All

I was browsing PLE website and noticed they seemed to be selling the 'clam shell' Nvidia shield as of next week; not sure if the price is a bargain; but first one I have seen sold locally in Perth (although I believe it is US stock) so the price may be cheaper than importing from the US.

Marked deal as starting on 21/8 as its currently up for pre-order.

      I don't think they will be a newer Shield Portable since they just announced Shield Tablet. Probably that is the "new model"?

          whats your source on this?
          I have never seen or heard of such a thing aside from user complaints.
          Its of strategic value for this tablet to go on for a year and perhaps release new shield then.

    Humm some of the links there do seem cheaper; would this work out better for people in Perth without paying for shipping? (local 1 year warranty might be useful as well)

    I got this for free :) Nvidia sent it to me to port my game to Shield.
    Nice device and there are a few good games in their store, which I really enjoyed playing. But I don't see any uses for it, other than playing games.
