  • Can anyone comment on the quality of the shirts?

I went to the Herringbone outlet store for their sale this week, and was actually quite disappointed with the quality (for the RRP).

    • i want to know too, bought one rhodes and bennett from outlet $169 down to $60 but can someone confirm if this $28-ish maybe similar in quality?

      • +4

I would say that they are noticeably better than Van Heusen and Jeff Banks but they don't seem to be as good as Herringbone, Boston Brothers (~$60-80 on sale) or Rhodes and Beckett (~$70-120 on sale).

  • TM's John Francomb shirts are good quality in my opinion (the tightest fitting ones) though they are also the most expensive.

  • Returns at your own cost (as opposed to free in store), make this tough as well. Can anyone confirm that you can't return an online purchase in store?

  • +1

Regular shirts can get quite wrinkly and don't iron too well after a few washes. Perhaps look at their non iron range

Went to Myer Melbourne City store to purchase a TM Lewin Suit, mentioned the 20% discount, and got the suit for 20% off plus received a $20 myer gift card (for spending more than $200), note this included alterations.

    Myer: $359 ($450 less 20%) -$20 (gift card) -$28 (alterations) =$311
    TM Lewin: $336 ($420 less 20%) + $28 (alterations) =$364

    • Good to know can works on Myers eventhough term and condition says no.

  • good post erwinsie, no this is not a targeted offer, I have the same code.

The quality of the shirts is very good. I found that sizing was difficult, I returned all of mine. They seem much smaller than other shirts. I'd recommend trying them on in a store if you can.
