I just did a price check with Jetstar and value added pack each way and it came to $690 without seat allocation or booking fee to go MEL to BKK direct flight early November for 10 days.
Reckon there is more comfort flying with stop in KUL with Malaysian airlines for $693 total, better service and more comfort. Just need to watch stop over times in KL
some people travel light and may not need to pay extra $70 for both baggage allowance for 20 kgs.

  • Also noticed there may be a seat allocation fee for cheapest fares but could not do dummy run to find out what it was. Did get as far as checking which seat I wanted and MH 146 MEL to KL flight looked very empty on 3rd Nov.Must all be going to the Melbourne Cup!
