I like to imagine that one day some really random successful and rich person is interviewed years from now, and they ask him about how he became so successful, he would just casually mention that it was all thanks to TA's posts of free Amazon books. And all the OzBargainers in the audience would nod and murmurs in agreement.

eBooks depress me .. have over half a million books now. Need some kind of wet wired implant to absorb them all as reading 2 books a month for the rest of my life won't even get through 2000 books. Need a more efficient way to take in all this knowledge!

        • Yes it is. All you need is an interface.

Everything that you're reading now has 0 and 1s as the fundamental. How is it you're able to read whatever i'm typing?

        • @zeomega: True, but @dogboy said " Need some kind of wet wired implant to absorb them all … " means no UI … go straight to dat brain cell …

    Ta, TA!

  • I scanned the list and I could see Amazon, AWS and Kindle, makes me think Amazon wants to promote their own stuff in free ebooks

Well we should all read 'The Philosophical Implications Of Information Overload' first, if we ever get around to starting on our digital library. I've got over 300 now.

Interestingly it doesn't note the number of pages in this book. Hmm. Minimalist already?!

      • I have to get mine from the Au server for some reason despite signing up with US before. It's just got 73kb file size on the Au page. http://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00MSZ3W14

Which screen cap program are you using to get the full page? I have a program that can stitch them together but just not capture them in one go or by scrolling. Maybe you have a massive screen or put it in portrait mode ;-p

  • another great compilation by TA….. one day i will get around to reading them :D
