Quick Ink Cartridges - Free Shipping & Save 3% ($50 minimum)

freeandsave3

As some of you are aware back in May I posted a free shipping deal plus an additional 3% off as a way of paying back some of the deals I have used over my time being part of the community. Here is the old link.

Anyhoo, over the past 3 or 4 weeks a number of you have emailed asking me to repeat the deal on Ozbargain. So here it is again.

Basically the deal is 3% off our price and free shipping anywhere in Australia. Unfortunately, this time around I will have to impose a $50 minimum.

We only sell genuine ink but email me if you want printrite ink (it isn't listed) and I will cut you a deal with free shipping. To give you an idea of printrite ink

  • Brother LC47BK $3 (genuine ~$32*)
  • Canon BC-20 $19 (genuine ~$52*)
  • Canon BC-21BK $2 (genuine ~$12*)
  • Epson T0541 $4 (genuine ~$18*)
  • Etc etc.

  • Approx price check site for full details on genuine ink

Let me be clear here people. If you need ink contact me and you will get it at or below wholesale cost.

P.S Please ship to an address where a signature can be obtained. Eg work address.

"Let me be clear here people. If you need ink contact me and you will get it at or below my cost."

Does this mean, if we contact you we will get a cost below that than what is on your site?

  • Nope. I mean if you order from the site you will get ink delivered to you at wholesale cost. Of course, this is based on total cost including courier delivery. I can say that because last time I offered this a lost money on 80% of the orders and the others I broke even.

But of course, shop around and see what you can find. Contact me if you want non genuine ink via the site. Hope this is clearer.

    hi quick ink,
What is your delivery method? Do you offer Australian Post (E-parcel) or is it courier only?

I don't have a work address but I do have a PO BOX … you guys ship to PO boxes right?

  • Hi,

Yeah we use a combination of couriers (depends on the state) but AAE will ship to a PO box. So Yes we can deliver to a PO box.

I've just had a browse around to compare some prices for a BROTHER TN-2025 toner cartridge.

    Dick Smith: $99
    Quick ink: $87

Not exactly the greatest of savings, granted it is still a saving. I was told by the store that there are massive margins/mark ups in inks and was able to actually get mine discounted by $20.

I don't mean to be rude, but I can't see a large saving here, rather just a way to get some free press. I won't neg the deal as it's a saving, however small it may be.

Hopefully I won't be negged for my honest feedback.

I have always purchased my inks from http://www.discountink.com.au
and they usually deliver overnight. (ie. next day delivery)
They sell BROTHER TN-2025 toner cartridges for $84.68 + Free Shipping. And that's the NORMAL price.
      (Compatible is at $49.82)
I think they have the cheapest inks around (both online and offline)

So technically, Quick Ink isn't cheap at all.

      Hope this info helps :P

    Kranbone,

While I appreciate your feedback I will correct you when you say the margin is massive. It simply isn't true.

Using the offer you will get your cartridge for $84.60 delivered anywhere is Australia. If you have ever moved something via courier it is generally $8-$12 depending on location.

That is a 15% saving to the DS price and you will get it delivered free. Not sure how that doesn't qualify as a bargain.

If you were in DS anyway and can buy your toner for $85 you are breaking even (if you can negotiate the discount) but considering most of us enjoy the convenience of home / business delivery I still stand by this offer.

  • Guys,

If you can find a better deal elsewhere by all means go ahead. But after reviewing discount ink prices they aren't the cheapest around (But yes there normal price is cheaper than ours for the TN2025). Have a look for your cartridge / toner and decide for yourself.

I don't expect you to be the cheapest on every product, and while you are slightly cheaper than Dick Smith, I can't help but feel this isn't really much of a bargain, rather a bit of PR.

Having said that you are saving, 3% which I suppose is better than nothing.

    • That's why it is important to shop around. I wasn't saying your stuff were expensive, its just that he was asking about Brother toners, which somehow is really cheap on discountink. Anyway, ink prices are pretty volatile in the first place, if someone has tonnes of old stock, they probably can sell it alot cheaper.

  • "I don’t expect you to be the cheapest on every product, and while you are slightly cheaper than Dick Smith, I can’t help but feel this isn’t really much of a bargain, rather a bit of PR."

Even if it is, the blokes posted two deals in around three months. I wish a lot of other sellers here would stick to the same ratio rather than clog up the front page with (what I consider to be) useless junk mail.

  • Yep you gotta shop around. Arcticmonkey I couldn't agree more regarding the clogging of the front page. I only posted here at the request of some Ozbargainers who ordered last time and wanted the same deal. And while we are on that subject since when is reposting junk mail offers (like woolies and coles catalogs) considered a bargain?

Doesn't that fail the - dont post what we can google rule. But yet it they always get so many positives!

    • It's all good, some idiot (emphasis on idiot) negged my though for trying to give you honest and genuine feedback which is a downer. I agree it's a bargain, however extremely small it may be.

I'll take your advice and definitely shop around as I've found quite a few places cheaper on cartridges I'm after, who knows maybe one day you might have the cheapest one around.

  • Good deal.

It seems others have missed the fact that it is free delivery on top of the 3% off.

I am not sure if Discount Ink provide free shipping, but regardless, I find this to be a good bargain.

Just placed my order. Maybe the OP should change the expiry date on this post as it clearly has not expired.
