Cube U30GT2 Quad Core - $83 Delivered - Possible Scam or Fake on Ebay

Just alerting everyone to a suspect ebay link for a Cube U30GT2, seller with only a 23 rating, located in Perth, Western Australia.

He has 2 listings, one at $83 delivered with more than 10 available, and the other is $85 delivered with more than 10 available. Currently 5 have sold, with still more than 10 available.

I was searching for an Android Tablet, Quad Core, 10 inch, and these were at the start of the listing.

Although 5 have sold, and although tempted, it just seems way too cheap for this tablet and way to suspect.

Any takers?

  • If it's too good to be true….

    • BTW, the price is reduced by $20 each now… so lol.

      • Not on my version of Ebay it's not. I must be using old version 1.0 Alpha.

      • +1

        $20 shipping mate

  • and why is it listed under go karts? (the 1st one)

  • Could be a hijacked account. Happens all the time.

  • I reported both listings, just to be on the safe side for either the buyers being duped, or the sellers account being compromised.

Both listings have 7 sales in total, so hopefully the buyers dont get stiffed.

    • This seller has recently re-listed the same items at lower prices.

His feedback score hasn't changed from 25 so it would appear previous buyers haven't taken delivery…

Interestingly if you go to the Ebay Go Karts listings here, http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/Go-Karts-/122306/i.html there are a scattering of similar dodgy deals for tech gear.

Most don't seem to have any relevant feedback, though one does http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/wangtiantian6988

I can't see how this stuff can be genuine if it ever gets delivered to buyers.

      • Correction: 24 hours later and the seller http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/timhan984 has pulled all active listings as has wangtiantian6988 linked earlier. Maybe there are a few too many asking questions…

  • the guy has sold only "San Antonio Spurs" football jerseys in the past so i reckon its a hijack
