$1 APPLE Mini DVI/VGA Adaptor Kit at Dicksmith - Click & Collect only, available at few locations

Bought the Apple Mini DVI/VGA adaptor from Dicksmith yesterday for $1. I remember seeing it at around $30 sometime back. Although VGA it might still be useful for some people who bought Macbook air from the eBay deal and want to connect it to the monitor or TV. You can't go wrong at $1.

The item details page is giving a 404 but you can add to cart from the search page and do checkout. I could only see stock available in Warringah mall in Sydney. Stock may be available in other cities.

Posting it as forum topic due to limited stock availability in Sydney. If you find stock in any other store locations please post in comments so that others can benefit.

Mods: If from the comments there is stock available in many locations please move this to deals.

Update: The product page is now accessible

  • Just a note that mini-DVI is a pretty old connector type.
As far as I know, any Macbook Airs won't have it, just earlier Macbooks (like my old white 2008 era Macbook).
Still a total bargain if it's what you need (I may pick one up…)

    • I thought same as my Macbook Air 11 doesn't has a mini display port but the product page for the adapter on Apple store mentions that it can be used with the Thunderbolt port.

Going to collect it from store tonight. Will update if it works.

Edit: My bad the apple store link above is for mini display port to vga adapater not dvi to vga. I think I've bought the wrong product :(
