Donut King - Free Coffee and Two Cinnamon Donuts - (from Cover New Idea Magazine 29 Aug 2009)

34

The cover of New Idea Magazie ($4.10 retail price), has a voucher attached for Free Coffee and Cinnamon Donuts (worth up to $6.10). Any size coffee, small , regular, large and two cinnamon donuts.

You can buy the magazine, or try printing out the image I've linked on to glossy paper - it may be accepted. Nowhere on the voucher/flyer does it state that photocopies or reproductions are not accepted, so your mileage may vary.

Dimensions of image:

14.7 cm - y axis

  • BTW - ozbargain Media File Upload was not returning; hence rapidshare link.

  • I'd be wary of scanned images of vouchers from magazines, based on the experiences of the last one from McDonalds. Companies usually have already allocated a set amount of freebies to give out, based on the copies of magazines that will have the voucher. When it gets online, and gets out of hand, the companies may suddenly just retract the voucher and disallow all printed copies of the voucher.

If this doesn't happen though, this's a good deal. +1 from me.

  • I'm voting ths down because the original post is encuoraging deception - trying to steal bargains like this will give ozbargain a bad name.

If you'd just posted the deal and told us to buy a New Idea magazine to get the voucher then I would have voted +ve.

  • Gave it a negative since these magazine promote ridiculously skinny celebs as role models, yet supply their obese, largely female readers with free donuts.

    • lol very valid point.

I'm not voting either way with this - i hate New Idea and wouldnt bother to buy it just for this as i don't drink coffee.

Good offer for those who buy the magazine anyway and can give the donuts to their kids.

    rapidshare . bad

    • the reason I used rapidshare, was that the ozbargain media gallery did not return from the upload attempt from firefox.

  • If you want to share an image, http://imgur.com/ works well

The service cuts down the size of image/quality though.

Is there a maximum file size I can upload?
The maximum non-animated file size you can upload is 10MB. However, if the image is over 1MB then it will automatically be compressed or resized to 1MB, for better viewing on the net. The maximum animated file size (both GIF and PNG) is 2MB.
