  • Since postage varies, you'd be better off saying $83.82 plus postage.

    • +1

Ah yeah, thought that might be the case, fixed

  • Yeah postage is $20 for me. Bought any way using the $20 voucher bought from Scoopon deal for $7. Lets see how good/bad is the screen quality. Thanks OP.

    • Damn. Nice, I used a $10 coupon they gave me so it came to about 85 all up for me.

  • Pretty good. Has VGA so can put a second monitor for netbook or laptop. Seems to be a bit on the heavy and thick side but it's a case of get what you pay for.

Edit: oops thought Seiki was a typo of Seiko. I remember reading about Sharp at BigW using Seiko or something, or viceversa maybe. What is Seiki? Is it the seconds version of Seiko?

    • its heavy and thick because it has a dvd player in it

to be truthful i could do without that but hey… i suppose its free with the tv

    • +5

Yeah, I thinks it's like Panaphonics

As long as it's a genuine Seiki you're good

      • That was good, made me chuckle. But seriously there are ones where they have really similar names and I'm sure it's Seiki and Seiko.

Oops. Seiko is a watch. Now I'm freakin' confused. Maybe it's Sharp and Teac or Toshiba or some Japanese brand like that I'm getting mixed up with.

        • +1

This will add to your confusion…
"Seikō Epuson Kabushiki-gaisha), commonly known as Epson" :-)

        • TAB gambling station I worked-on had Toyoda ~24" flatscreens.

It is like "Sornby" on the simpson's.

      • +2

        Its Sorny

        • +1

lol - thank you, wow, you are correct. I have been saying Sornby for years and get positive reactions. It's going to be hard to change.

  • correct me if i'm wrong but the price just went up?

    edit: nvm lol

Just got Full HD 24” LED TV w/ Built-in DVD Player from CatchOfTheDay.

  • Its to cheap to resist even if its not good tv can still use it for a good size monitor :)

    • That's my plan, I was looking at buying a new monitor today and just happened to stumble upon this :D

  • +1

    Good size for the dunny

  • Ahhh I don't really need one but it's super tempting, anyone from the previous deal who got one know the energy star rating on this? or the power consumption value?

    • four stars so pretty average

  • The same model is $229 at Dick Smith: http://www.dicksmith.com.au/high-definition/seiki-24-hd-tv-w…. :)

    Must…resist…save money for Sun eBay 15% off…

  • sold out

  • +1

Can it be used as a computer monitor?

    • 1 x VGA Input (15 pin D-Sub) -yes

    • That's why I bought this mainly. I doubt I'll ever use the tv tuner part of it. Can't find a 24 inch fhd monitor for this price.

  • was thinking about it, but am planning to buy a projector via ebay this sunday…

    • don't tempt me with that too…

      • am only after a budget projector, around $1k, the 15% savings will be great.

        • +2

Remember in the T&C, discount is capped at $100 per transaction. So max price req to take advantage of the full $100 off is ~$665 bringing the price down to $565. Spending 1k will still only result in $100 off.
