Does anyone know if Myer has a price guarantee? Just bought a screen for $1749, and saw it at Goodguys for $50 cheaper 1 week later :/

After you purchased it, maybe not. Still qualifies for refund maybe but then you have to buy another one at Good Guys. Anyhow, it's worth asking them.

Don't know about Myers but I know David Jones are willing to price match competitors.
What John said sounds best. 30 day return, no questions asked, I think, with Myers. Return it and get it for cheaper elsewhere. Maybe even get the good guys to do you a slightly better deal to cover your inconvenience (and their prices are usually flexible).
Myer does price match, but its before the sale, not after.
But why buy from Myer when you have to wait sometimes for half an hour to get served - they have cut back on staff that much. Love a bargain, but hate waiting.
Yes, Myer can't seem to decide whether they're competing with D.J.'s or Best & Less.
Every couple of years they go full circle; first getting rid of staff and service counters, then going up-market again, then back to self-service…
[ :- { )Agree but would beg to differ on one point - the staff numbers don't go up when they change strategies, it probably appears that way as the customers drop off - hence less in line - as the price goes upmarket.
I don't think they do price guarantee after sales unlike Good Guys, Harvey Norman or may be Domayne too?? But it's not worth the hassle for $50 to return big screen (I assumed plasma TV??). Btw…did you pay the screen with myers visa card? If so, until end of this month I think… for every dollars you spent, $1,749 x 4 = 6,996 points. This could earn you $60 Myer gift voucher (with leftover 996 points). So pretty much the same price.
Sorry can't help you moo. I know that they do price match (when they can). No harm calling them and asking.
