    Looks good.

Just a word of advice, I haven't install this model, but a lot of car kits.
A lot of cars do not have ISO as standard, so you may need to buy an adapter cable.
You will need to remove your radio to install and this may take some effort. also, there will be a black control box, you need to fit this some where and possibly find a live 12v supply.

It always worries me that they do not show whet the screen looks like on. may need to google for an image.

    • im not sure you'd need an ISO cable since this product broadcasts over FM channel, which IMHO makes it pretty much useless in majority of cities due to the lousy sound quality

    • Hey Deal88.

I have a '08 Audi A6 and had an aftermarket bluebooth unit installed before I bought the car (parrot brand I think). The button on the control panel has come off and somehow voice prompts are in a different languare so the unit doesnt get much use out of it right now.

Will this unit be suitable as a replacement? Having not much knowledge in this area, does it also allow for music to be played on my car speakers via bluetooth from my phone?

      Cheers for the help.

I have been using this unit for a few years. I picked up this car kit for $10 from the Telstra shop opposite Apple store in Sydney CBD. The remote (the oval thingy) attaches to the steering wheel by a rubber band. The rubber band itself is quite robust but the remote keeps coming off the shoe that is attached to the rubber band.
This unit does not interface with your car radio with any connectors, it has its own speaker and mic for phone conversations. You can play music from your bluetooth phone but the connection is via FM frequencies that have 3 choices. You will need to preset a radio station to one of these frequencies to listen to music. Pairing via bluetooth is a bit hit and miss, however once paired it works very well for phone calls, imports your contacts, says your contacts name aloud while selecting so that you dont need to take your eyes off the road. Using it to play music is not that good an experience though it has pause/play and skip functions, mainly because of the FM interface. Control is via the oval remote both for music and calls, however the remote keeps falling off the steering wheel. There is a mini usb port to upgrade the firmware, however I have not been succesful in finding a firmware update.
