Was in GAME store (Epping VIC, Plenty Valley shopping centre) and saw them selling Rock Band hardware and software very cheap!
Rock Band Guitar (xBox 360, PS2/3 & Wii) $39
Rock Band Drum (Wii) $79
Software (PS2/3) $39
Volume 1 (PS2) $29

Cheapest I've seen and compatible with the up coming Beatles release! If you go to the GAME online store and search for 'Rock Band' you'll see the prices and "In store only - Check your local store" reference.

EDIT: It might be store specific to what they are selling, as I notice they list PS2 drums on the web site but don't have that at that particular store. So you might have to shop/ring around.

    I'm tempted to get an addition Guitar for the Wii myself, as they appear to work with the Wii's Guitar Hero world tour as well, not sure if it works with Metallica as well. But I'd assume it would also.

      I got the Metallica game with the guitar, just to have a second guitar. The guitar was exactly the same as the world tour one, just a different sticker on the face. I'm sure if the rock band guitar works with the metallica version, it'd work with the world tour one.
