  • Is this equivalent to the old x61t and x200/201t?

  • saw the full hd and was going to upvote but then realised it's 11.6", the older folks might need their reading glasses to use this laptop!

    • It wouldn't be good value if it was larger than that, with those specs.

Why are you advertising ex-GST pricing on a consumer targeted website? A company like Staples should know better.

Will be submitting a complaint about this ridiculous behaviour.

      American company, American price advertising

Please stop embarrassing yourself. Businesses operating in Australia have to abide by all Australian laws.

It's pretty clear that it's EX GST pricing because he added it immediately after the price. On the page he links to it clearly states both EX GST and INC GST pricing.

      Staples sell primarily to businesses.

I don't see the problem unless you want to be pedantic.

Must advertise total price, unless advertising exclusively to businesses.

. On the page he links to it clearly states both EX GST and INC GST pricing.

The Ozbargain advertisement does not specify the total price. Having to click through to somewhere else to find a total price does not comply with advertising laws.

        Staples sell primarily to businesses.

Ex GST pricing can only be displayed if they're advertising exclusively to businesses, not primarily.

I don't see the problem unless you want to be pedantic.

You don't see a problem with businesses not complying with the law? Interesting.

Take it easy. It's right there on the link. Whilst that's probably not to the letter of the law there's no need to fire up about "…this ridiculous behaviour"

  • So we buy through email and pay only with CC?

..What's with the PDF and emailing some dude? Is it really that hard to just add it to the webstore with a stock counter?

  • Rep, what would be the approximate real world use run time be on the 3 cell battery include if you were surfing the net over wifi with screen 50% brightness and CPU set to power savings mode? Would you get 3 to 4 hours, or a bit more?

  • Rep, can you please tell me whether the keyboard has another battery built in?

    Thanks.

    • It does.
