    Site?

      and most likely fake.

        Didn't realise Xiaomi's weren't some knockoffs themselves…

        • +5

          nah… Xiaomi is a good company. Gaining reputation fast!

          So, some take advantage of this and sell fake Xiaomi gear.

          @liveyourlife:
          LOL.

          "Lei Jun owns Xiaomi, a multi-billion dollar tech company that is commonly referred to as “the Apple of the East” in China. As you can see in the photo above, Lei rocks a black turtleneck and jeans behind an Apple-like presentation at Xiaomi product unveilings. The fact that he’s selling iPhone look-a-likes certainly helps his falsified persona."

          @Kego:

          And you choose to use the source: "cultofmac"

        • @Kego: Why take unnecessary risk and attempt to be original?

        • Xiaomi is an amazing company. MIUI blows Apple, Touchwiz & stock Android away.

      Buy from somewhere reputable. The big thing about Xiaomi's aren't that they're cheap - it's that they're cheap and really good. Ibuygou is apparently genuine (I've never bought from there, but people on r/headphones vouched for them).

    Be careful of the eBay ones. There's a lot of fake ones. The ones from ibuygou are genuine.

    Own a pair - they're great.

  • Heads up, volume buttons don't work in Nexus 4.

    These are kickass, I have a pair and love them. Best headphones that you'll get for the price. AND THEY SMELL OF CHOCOLATE.

    Apparently knockoffs are pretty common, so watch out - but I've read that Ibuygou is sells genuines.

  • I ordered a set of fakes off eBay to test haha… Will see how much of a let down they'll be.

  • been looking for a new pair of earphones! anyone know how long shipping is from these guys??

  • You have edited it to expired but the price is still available

    I bought these from ibuygou a couple months back …. All good.

  • thanks OP last time i ordered these off banggood and they turned out to be fakes. I heard this site sells legit ones though.

    They have the silver version on promo now. It's slightly more at $24.85 ($21.99US), until 14th Oct.

    http://www.ibuygou.com/p-new_version_xiaomi_piston_headphone…

    If you go to the homepage, a promo ad will pop up.

    • I got an email today to say the gold ones are no longer available and have been offered a silver pair as a replacement at no extra charge.. They are supposed to be latest version so have accepted.

      Did this just before I read today's Mushtato deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/164859

      Oh well..as long as they are genuine I'll be happy

      • I also have this email… Not sure if I should say yes or no. The ones at ibuygou will take a few days to arrive whilst the mushtato ones will be here next week

  • Strange. When i log into my account nothing comes up under 'My Orders' . Received an email after my purchase with a transaction ID though.

  • Mine just arrived, very happy except the rubber smells like chocolate… weird

    • …it's meant to. That's one of the ways they have to verify it's a genuine product.

    • How did it arrive so quickly? Usually takes 3/4 weeks from China?

  • Got mine today.. Shame the volume controls don't work with the z2!
