These often work out quite well…get online with this, register, download & play some World of Tanks (great free game, BTW), then don't be too surprised when WoT sends you out a free 1 or 3 month Gold membership in a few weeks time to get you playing again…I'm currently on my second 3 month freebie for the year! :)

How? They don't include the free games… Which largely makes this deal pointless.
Well it's giving me an opportunity to find out what gold is about without activating my free month when I know I'm flat out at work and won't use it.
I just downloaded Spartacus which was woeful and World of Tanks which was passable.
I thought world of tanks was great till I looked more closely. They want money for every little customisation so you forgo that. But then if you want a tank that doesn't fall apart in battle cough up the dough.

Interesting. I'm new to 360, and haven't activated my free month of live yet. So it was interesting to see what's available that I might be missing out on. With young kids, so far not a lot.
Anyone that wants to get back into Diablo 3 ROS there is a community buff event going for a few days. 100% extra xp buff for xbox 360 users and Xbox one double treasure goblin spawns. So the free xbox live gold this weekend is great for me! I can get back into it! Thanks Op.
