Play Asia have a white Asia model on sale. It's half price at this time. I bought this same model last week for $20 more :(

It works 100% with any region and I'm running my AU account on it right now.
It plays PS Vita, PS One, PSP games straight from a memory card or Vita game card and streams PS4 games via remote play. It will also work with PS Now service when that arrives later.
This device is going to cost $150 when released here in Australia on November 21st.

Currently the AU PS store isn't available for it so to play digital games you must download them on either your PS Vita or PS3 and move them wirelessly to your PC and then across to your PS TV. Or simply insert your Vita memory card.

      I've just edited, forgot to mention that PS Store isn't up for AU accounts yet. It is for US as it was officially released there yesterday. One month until it releases here. More info in post now above links.

          It will work if you are using the same region accounts on those not sure otherwise tbh. Haven't tried.

      I am slightly tempted but I refuse to give money to anyone using proprietary memory cards. But hopefully you can use usb for storage?

        Not as of yet, it does have a USB port though, many people are asking Sony to support this so fingers crossed they listen.

      Yes but tbf prices are coming down. 64gb often comes in at less than $100 now. 16gb roughly $35 and with Ethernet capability you can move games back and forth to your PC very quickly with this. It also has 1gb built in to get you started.

        Yeah I used a regular figure 8 cable, same as what the PS Vita, PS3 and PS4 all have used. They can be picked up for $5 or less.

    Isn't it a little early to be buying these things?

    I've yet to see proof that streaming games in Australia actually works.

    We could be stuck with 480p and 1 second delay.

      It streams from your PS4 within the same network and also plays Vita, PSOne and PSP games from the system. PS Now is the only service that needs a good ping and that isn't available here for a year at least.

      Outdated post from a year ago at Kotaku. The latest 3.30 update changed this. I wouldn't have posted this and told everyone it worked if it didn't ;)
