my xbox just put some rings on the edge of a few discs and i want them buffed out

The disc cleaning machines that EB and video stores use are absolutely atrocious. They put more marks on the disc than they take off. At work we use a bench grinder with a cloth polishing wheel on it with a bit of alcohol based cleaner. With a light touch you can get most marks off. However those circular scratches you get from moving your console while the disc is spinning are all but impossible to get out.
Unless the games aren't working I would just leave them alone.
