  • what would you use so many for? these are not modems im guessing

    • +1

I use it as a wifi access point

      • +1

I read that he only bought one to add to another product, total order over $50.

  • Good deal.
    Cheapest on staticice is $29.00

  • bad reviews, drops out after few weeks of use.

  • only 10/100 lan ports make the 300mbps pointless really. good price if you just want a cheap wifi access point tho i guess

    • +2

WiFi is only half duplex so you're really only getting 150Mbps, then you take into account of weak signal etc you won't max out the 100Mbps LAN port with the wireless :)

no pick up option, no stores in syd has it, then not worth the trouble with postage

  • Agree no Sydney stores have it and doubt most would.

Have one, it just gets lent out as a spare these days. Replaced it as it suffered from random dropouts for me, twice a week and have a lot of trouble getting it to work properly with TPG. Though a mate used it for a while on Telstra and had no problems. Wireless range is short.

    • Don't belkin products have lifetime warranty?

      • +1

i think lifetime equals 5 years with belkin ….. no way this is lasting 5 years

    • Same experience with an old Belkin router I have as well. Random dropouts from day 1.

I'd steer clear of Belkin networking stuff.

  • Nice fill to get free shipping, but otherwise you wouldn't want to pay for it.

    • probably would have been better to just pay for postage, now this unit will sit in the cupboard.

  • If the review from Newegg is true I would avoid it even for cheaper price.

  • Officeworks were clearing these at $5 in 2012! Warm up the time machine ;-)

    • They don't look the same…

  • +3

Brought one 2012 for my in-law.
Build is cheap and coverage is poor too.
Ditched it last night due to too much problems and replaced with a DSL-2750B.

$7 is cheap but trust me you will spend hours to get it to work right as it seems to be some firewire issue preventing certain settings to be saved.

  • out of stock.

  • +3

Only worth it for the power supply in the box.

Don't touch the router, even as a wifi access point, you will be wasting your time.

    • Needs more reasons - WHY?

  • +1

Cant check out for delivery. Says Error checking stock levels.

  • Belkin make some terrible routers and this is one of them. Installed one for a family member and constant dropouts and issues.

Replaced it will a billion and no issues since.

  • you may aswell set $7 on fire.

at least there will be a moment of pleasure and bad-assness that you will never get from this belkin.

  • Any one received their router?

I only received other items i ordered from the post today…
