Fitspiration for Finance

Looking for sites that provide frequent reminders of the benefits of saving to counter the daily bombardment of pro-spending messages and temptations. Sites that help people who have trouble staying focused when they're not seeing enough to offset the latter. And that put frugality in a positive light.

Blogs, vlogs, even Instagram type material. Personal stories. Mindset-changing stuff, not overly dry finance articles. Target audience is a 30 year old female financial basketcase who, despite knowing she has a spending problem and wanting to fix it, still has 'good days' and 'bad days', with the latter really setting her back.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if its inspiration but I enjoy reading /r/personalfinance on Reddit. They have a monthly challenge thing where each month they suggest a task to try, November is their first month for this, it might help you?

I'm not sure of any specific sites but some great books to read are books by Robert Kiyosaki, start with Rich Dad Poor Dad.

I have read some great books that were life changing for me.

    1. The Richest Man in Babylon
    2. The Millionaire Next Door
    3. Stop Acting Rich
    4. Early Retirement Extreme

Each of these books are anti-consumer, focus on your investment goals. Two of these authors have websites and blogs. Check out thomasjstanley.com and earlyretirementextreme.com
