Moto 360 $329 JB-HI-FI Pre-Order

41

It was confirmed that JB-HI-FI and Harvey Norman were due to sell the Moto 360 on October 31st, but unfortunately there was an issue with the stock.

JB-HI-FI is taking pre-orders for the Moto 360 for $329 which i think is the cheapest i have seen so far. Nothing on when it will be released though.

There is no link yet and pretty sure have to go in store for now. This post is just to deter people from buying it online that are more expensive and sub par warranty

  • Reports online suggest that the pre-order stock is around 15 units per store.

This is the standard retail price. Not a bargain.

Not a bargain nor anything special. Harvey Norman are also taking preorders at the same price. Stock is expected to be between 6 and 17 per store.

It's not A bad price. Pretty sure it's still cheaper than getting shipping forwarder to buy one on your behalf.

  • Pre ordering a smart watch after so many have failed is not the best idea.

Better off waiting for a few weeks after release to read real reviews.

That would make sense if this wasn't released in the US like two months ago…There are plenty of reviews out.

    • It's a shame. I was so hyped for the 360, but after reading the reviews, I think i'll wait for a v2.

  • $329 is regular retail price. Have also further heard from Harvey Norman that the light chrome version is expected to be available at the end of this week whilst the black one won't be available till the end of the month.

    • Also worth noting that from the two HN stores I called, they said that they had already presold more than their allocated stock so it wont be available for quite some time I imagine…

Just went into my local jb. They couldn't put a pre-order down because there are 0 on order and 0 available.
He called up the supplier and was told that Motorola just issued another delay so I can't preorder

    • Another delay?? :-(

That's bad news indeed. Thanks for the update, though.

  • $249 USD, so quite a bit of aussie tax applied on that.

I wonder how much the $350 USD Apple watch will cost here..

Btw, this moto 360 is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures.

    • $249USD to AUD = $285AUD. $285AUD + 10% GST = $313.50.

      $329-$313.50 = $15.50.

Australia tax is $15.50. I would say that's excellent.

      • Not to mention if you were to ship it down by itself it would be like 25 bucks anyway

  • This watch looks so similar to my MVMT black-dial.

Wondering if Motorola ripped that dude off completely.

  • Hi guys, I just bought one at strand arcade JB Hifi. I asked whether I can pre-order one, but the shop guy said they have stock!
Now I just have to go home and charge my new baby.

  • Got mine from JBHiFi - Adelaide today. Very impressed by it!

They only got 2 black in today and I was lucky enough to get the second one. Looks like they are selling out everywhere!
