    Says "1 Year warranty in Australia." on the product. I assume the actual HD comes with the normal 3 year warranty though…

      That's what I'd like to know - the hard drive is far more likely to fail - and far more expensive - than the enclosure. I fear that because this drive is specifically targetted for external boxes, that the warranty is only 1 yr. Personally never buy a drive unless I know how long its warranty is.
