      • maybe weight is over the limit for free ship

There's a size and weight limit.

The TV tuner in it won't, so you'll need a STB/PVR. Also not sure if it's dual 120V/240V power… (EDIT - it is dual voltage it seems.)

And you can buy a Soniq from JB for $299 if you're after a cheap and nasty 40" TV. Or a new Changhong from Bing Lee for $399. http://www.binglee.com.au/changhong-led40d1000-40-full-hd-le…

    Why would you bother?

  • confirmed voltage working in Australia as per specs here http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/d4/d489b933-4b8e-…

I'd rather buy similar one from big w…

Useless tuner, no warranty, and shipping kills it.

    • In the past 10 years of owning TVs, I have never used the built-in tuner once.

      • +1

You should buy a TV with a built in tuner… They usually come in the tv's these days.

I suggest you learn how to read.

      • I've never used the built in tuner in any of our TVs either.

We cannot get decent TV reception - everything is streamed off my server, or via Foxtel cable.

People in tyhe country areas will never use a built-in tuner either, as they use Satellite TV

this deal is not worth the hassle of any issues

With the cheapest shipping that's ~AU$317

The tuner in it will be useless, as it's not DVB-T
    You'll effectively have zero warranty

I suspect this would be a better way to spend your money, it has basic "Smart" features, you'll be able to use the PVR function and it's $18 cheaper…

  • I bought a Toshiba from Amazon Germany about 2 years ago and it has been awesome. I found it via ozb too.
