Dragon Age: Inquisition - PC Approximately $28.56 AUD - Uplay/Origin Key

830

Appears game is no longer available in Ukraine store.

Came across this deal, and it worked for me:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dragon-age-inquisition-for-p…

Dragon Age: Inquisition (Origin) on Uplay Ukraine for less than $30! I purchased this with my 28 Degrees card for their excellent conversion rate. Fees may depend on your bank. Redeemed it and am currently downloading it :D

This is all done via Google Chrome with the Hola! plugin.

  1. Download Google Chrome

  1. Download Hola! Better Internet Plugin

  1. Download Uplay (Ubi Softs version of Origin/Steam) and create an account.

  2. Activate Hola! Plugin and visit store.ubi.com , choosing Ukraine in the Hola plugin. You should now see all the website in another language. Make sure first that that's the case.

  3. Search for Dragon Age: Inquisition on the main page. Add the game to your cart and DO NOT CHANGE THE CURRENCY as it'll screw around with the price. It should be 374 Ukrainian Hryvnia.

  4. Continue with the purchase and pay with Debit/Credit Card. When choosing your address, fill it in as normal, and although the country field won't let you chose UK, just chose Ukraine. It works.

  5. All done! After the transaction goes through you'll see the confirmation page with the CD-KEY you need to redeem in Origin. You can also redeem it through the Uplay client, as it'll appear in your Uplay account. Click on PLAY and it'll give you the code you need to redeem in Origin. Redeem, download. (If you already have Origin open, it'll try to auto-redeem it.

Anyone else game to try this?

    • Hijacking this top post as a warning be careful that they didn't change your price back up to 499 making the game $38. Still a good price but just watch out.

  • +3

    +1 for solid OP walkthrough.

  • Doesn't work for me.. Comes up with "Разрешение на оплату не получено" Authorization for payment is not received

    • Try turning off Hola for the payment page.

  • Is the game in English?

  • +2

Game is in English and tested.

Make sure to use the Hola addon in Chrome, if you are having issues with the payment section, perhaps disable the addon during checkout.

I think the addon is only required to get the original price to show due to regional settings.

ubi store isn't like the origin one.. I created a new ubi store account and set my location to Ukraine.. even after disabling hola unblocker, it still defaulted to the russian store (rather than the AU store), so it remembers your location based on your account settings rather than IP location.

Edit: Tried creating 2 accounts and used 4 different credit cards.. i give up.. you win ubi.. nicely played! lol..

      • Try deleting all cookies related to ubi from your browser.

I had the same problem and it worked after deleting cookies.

        • It's all just very weird.. Tried creating a few new accounts under my name, and 2 under my wife.. Still the same error..

  • Nice find OP, shame I purchased mine yesterday for 20 more >.<

I'm sure most are aware of this but be aware of course if using a credit card (that doesn't have free international conversions) and paying in a foreign currency you may get slogged with additional fees.

  • Just tried it and it works. I used Google Translate to help me get through certain parts of the process.

  • Worked me thanks.

  • Worked for me

The payment went through, but I did not see any CD-Key….

Received an email saying that (translated):

    """
Your order has been confirmed and is currently being processed. Within 48 hours you will receive another email with the details of your order.
    """

    • Should have got the key straight away after payment on another page. But you will get an email with it as well.

Alternatively it should show up in your Uplay account and allow you to install/link to Origin for download from there.

      • I did not see the key on after payment, I might have missed something.

The game is also not showing up in my Uplay client.

Did you also received the CD-Key in emails?

        • I got the same thing. No CD-KEY and just saying my order is being processed. But it looks like my account was charged…though for $38 instead of the $28.

Fingers crossed. Feeling a bit doubtful about it though.

Also not showing up in order history for Uplay Store either.

        • @monkeybunt:

Did you use an existing account? Or did you register a new account?

        • @lljj: I created a new one. Figured that would be best.

        • @monkeybunt: Managed to find details of my order on the site, even though it doesn't show up in Transaction history. Lol.

Managed to find the invoice with my email address and last digits of the credit card. Still in processing. Weird.

Hopefully everything kicks in soon and I get it. It will be a big sigh of relief when it does.

        • @monkeybunt:
I just found my order too, which is shown as "Order Submitted"

Not sure what we did wrong…

I used citibank debit visa, what about you?

        • @lljj: I used a St George Visa Credit Card. Hmmm, not sure what is going on. Might have to try contacting the Uplay Ukrainian support. Lol.

        • @lljj: Can you let me know if you also seem to get any strange charges on the card you used? I have had two random charges to Paypal accounts that I do not recognise. Could be something dodge. I will keep updated.

        • @monkeybunt: Checked my account and it was charged $28.73, still pending though. But I got the Key already :P

        • @xeion: Lucky you. :) I was over charged by the Uplay thing by $10 extra and don't have a key. Lol. Really hope it comes through tonight. Going to take that long to download it.

        • @monkeybunt:

Sorry for the late reply. I paid by credit card directly, and got one charge only.

How did you pay by PayPal? I did not see that option.

        • @lljj: Finally got mine. After a response from the Ukraine Uplay Support people. :)
Hope you go through ok LLJJ.

        • @monkeybunt: Did you send them an email? If so what did you say?

        • +1

@moogle: I logged a support thing, using the Ukraine site. :P And translated it all to russian with Google translate. SO guess they got the gist of it, and I got it through not from them and its now coming up in my transaction history.

Seems I also got charged 1400 rubles for it as well, totalling $38. Not sure how or why that happened, since when I went through the cart it had the 374 Ukrainian Hryvnia against it. Not sure I am going to bother chasing up the difference. Sick of converting everything I write now. :)

What I wrote to them is as follows:

"Номер для заказа ********* (order number).
Этот приказ был помещен и обрабатываются . Деньги взяты из моей кредитной карты , но ключи активации илидоступ не дали . Она не показывает против моего счета .
Пожалуйста включите и дать мне код активации , пожалуйста,
          Моя электронная почта [email protected]"

          Which translates to:

Order number ********* (order number) .
This order was placed and processed. Money taken from my credit card, but the activation keys ilidostup not given. It does not show against my account.
Please turn on and give me the activation code please
          My email [email protected]

Obviously worked. Thank god. ;) Hope you can do something similar.

        • @monkeybunt: thanks, i'll give it a go.

    • Got the same email.
Then got another email saying "Благодарим вас за посещение нашего магазина. К сожалению, ваш заказ не был принят." or "Thank you for visiting our store . Unfortunately , your order was not accepted ."
Credit card shows the $28 charge. Will have to wait and see if the charge gets cancelled.

I didn't use a proper address and also used my existing Uplay account to log in before purchasing.

  • +1

Can confirm working, my CD Key was displayed on the last page of the ordering process where it confirmed. Activated with Origin.

  • Great price. paid $46 for mine as a preorder.

  • Damn, good price! I just paid $46US which ended up about $56AU only last night which was the cheapest I could find at the time. Still downloading as we speak, 24GB download!

  • +3

Confirmed working. Just follow the ops instructions.

This is a repost of a deal originally posted here
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dragon-age-inquisition-for-p…

    • Good post, would have been nice if OP originally linked that as it's useful to see what works/doesn't work for others

  • What did you guys put for Method of Payment: ??

    • +1

Write Mastercard or Visa. Wrote my name and got server issue. Wrote Mastercard and worked.

    • I used my name personally and it worked for me.

      • Tried it all and it just doesnt want to work for me :(
keep getting: Разрешение на оплату не получено

        • +1

It means you entered your credit card details incorrectly. On the screen where you get that message it will give the transaction details, including last 4 digits of your credit card and the expiry date in digit form. Most people get that part incorrect. Also, the very bottom of the page has 2 tick boxes, one is for a newsletter, but the last one is the privacy policy which you must tick.

Failing all that, try Firefox with the "noscript" add-on.

If you go through using a direct link (pacotaco kindly provided it below: http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubiemea/ru_RU/pd/ThemeID.8605700/p…) and ensure you don't "allow" the ubisoft web site then it will remain on that default page.

If you get stuck then use the "temporary allow [ubisoft.com]" option, the site will automatically default to AU and reload giving you an English version. Open in another tab and do the checkout process through the English version (take screenshots if required), once you have the info you need, "revoke temporary permissions" and go back to the first tab. Hit the back button and it should reload the RU direct link. Proceed with payment.

If everything goes well your 2nd last screen (comes after the payment processing) will load a Serial Key beside the Games Icon.

        • @Ebany:
Yep I went into add payment method on the AUS site to try and figure it out and for some reason it wont allow me to add my visa or mastercard. It just says contact support unable to add card.

        • @ohhidayo: Ah, that will mess things up.

I ordered one for a friend as he doesn't have a CC, I did what you did, went through my account on the AU site and did a trial transaction to get all the information correct.

You'll have to contact support to sort out the CC issue, unless you can get another CC from somewhere. A burner from the Post Office would work, charge it with the required $$, they're great.

  • +1

What do you write for Method of Payment? Do you write the name on the credit card or Mastercard/Visa?

    • I just wrote "28 Degrees". Don't think it matters.

  • I love the internetz :) Thanks OP.

  • Awesome post, bought a copy :)

  • +3

Kept getting redirected to the AU version of the site even with hola, but was able to access it with direct link, might help some others

    http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubiemea/ru_RU/pd/ThemeID.8605700/p…

edit: worked perfectly fine, got CD key on receipt page and in email, game appeared on my uplay account instantly however.

    Great deal

  • lol somehow this works, hard to understand.
Key was loaded in my Uplay account automatically too.
Paid $28.68 but I will get a int fee with that.

  • Worked great, Thanks OP. Was going to wait a few months but at this price, all good…love Dragon Age :)

  • any similar deals floating around for far cry 4?

    • you can do the same with farcry via the indian origin store. I paid $33 for it. Same way, diff country.

  • Thanks rysith worked fine!

  • Thanks rysith.

  • Thanks for this! I paid $28.73 in total on my 28 Degrees card.

  • +1

Has anybody tried it using an existing Uplay account?

    • Yes. Just to be clear you redeem the game on Origin not Uplay.

      • Yep. Thanks. Was going to buy it for PS4, but half price for PC with this deal :)

    • Yeah, I tried it on my account, worked flawlessly

  • +1

Worked flawlessly with my 28 Degrees card. I also disabled Hola once the game was added to my cart. It gave an error when I turned Hola Off, hit F5, and it refreshed back to RU Ubi Homepage with the game still on my cart, made the payment, got the code on the next page, redeemed on Origin, downloading now.
    :)

  • FYI you can disable Hola once you've added the game to your cart and started the checkout process, the order still completes fine. I disabled it just before I logged into my UPlay account. I'm a bit paranoid about sending passwords and credit card details over some random proxy.

    Also, thanks OP. Good find!

  • Thanks OP. My components for building a gaming rig comes in a few weeks but I have a laptop that is probably capable of playing this, are you allowed to download the game more than once on Uplay? Or can you only download it once, cause if that is the case I am gonna wait for my gaming rig to arrive.

    • Uplay doesn't limit downloads, so you'll be fine!

    • There's no limit on how many times, but you obviously can only play it with the one account signed in at a time (unless you switch to offline).

  • you op are the best.

  • its aud 28.82 for me, cheers!

  • Thanks this worked well for me.

  • Thanks, was going to get it for PS4, but couldn't pass this up. Got it for $28.77.

  • i keep getting

Благодарим Вас за размещение заказа. Ваш заказ обрабатывается, о результатах Вам будет сообщено в ближайшее время.

    • I still keep getting this issue too.. (Translates to: Thank you for placing your order. Your order is processed on the results you will be informed shortly.)

Anyone having this problem figured it out yet.. Don't see any code after it. I've tried disabling Hola after ive added it to the cart :S

      • ok, just checked my spam folder.. ive tried for times and have 4 different order confirmations, earliest try an hour ago.. but still not sign of a code or any order history in my account..

  • +1

I had several issues, where even through Hola it kept diverting me back to the Australian page, or the proxy timed out. Instead, I downloaded Hola on my Nexus 7, and everything worked a breeze. This might help for others?

  • Good deal. Bought!

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got it for 28.82 AUD on 28 Degrees card.

Things not mentioned in the post (but mentioned in previous comments):

    • Once on the checkout payment page, disable Hola, then log into your Uplay account.

    • If you need to translate any text at any time, right click near the text and select 'Translate to English'.

    • Once payment processed, you may not immediately see the game in Uplay (give it a few minutes). You will get the first notification email. You can check if the order has gone through on the website via (Translated to English) My Account > History of orders. You will see the UPLAY code there. You do not need to redeem this code - it should already be applied to your account.

    • In a few minutes you will get the second Uplay email with the same UPLAY code. Go into Uplay (after this second email) and you should see your game there.

    • Click "Play" in Uplay. It should give you a ORIGIN code, and open Origin automatically to activate per step 5 of OP. If you don't have Origin you can download it here. https://www.origin.com/en-au/download

  • +3

Worked for me thanks - if you have trouble getting onto the store (it keeps redirecting to the Australian store) remember to delete your cookies.

  • nvm

Is anyone able to buy me a copy? Would pay $35 and would need to add it to my origin account before payment is made.

    • +1

I would love to help but don't want to use my CC on your account, so let me see if I can help with your transaction first :)

Do you have Firefox with "NoScript" add-on installed, if not, get it. I'm going through the steps, many of which you already know, but I must do it to ensure I leave nothing out - my OCD at work.

You can login to Ubisoft AU through a web browser and change your details, is worthwhile to save language problems later on.

First and foremost, the site doesn't care about cookies regarding location. Don't go clearing all your browser data as it won't help. Location is detected through a script on the main site. One of the reasons so many people have issues with Hola derives from the fact it's not instantaneous, it can take up to 30 mins for the site to recognise the new location, and it can take the same time for the site to reverse. So if a person must disable Hola for the final transaction …….. well, you get the point. NoScript through Firefox simply relies on someone using a direct link, no routing changes.

Because the the main site runs a script to detect location I don't allow ubi.com using NoScript, though I may "allow temporary" if I have language issues and then "revoke temp permissions" once sorted. I then changed the address to the Russian one (http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubiemea/ru_RU/home/ThemeID.8605700…).

      Find the game,
      Add to cart,
      Checkout.

I change the currency from Rubble's (RUB) to Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH) as you pay $35 if you use Rubbles, but only $28 if you use Hryvnia.

      Next screen is No.2,
      Input username & password +ENTER,

It will reload with any prior account info. Most importantly the drop-down boxes, except for a couple, always have a default heading which must be changed.

      Personal Info

Адресная книга: Is a dropdown selection box with prior used addresses (leave it alone)

      Имя:* First Name

      Фамилия:* Surname

Дата рождения:* D.O.B. - The first word in the drop down box is "Month", the actual months follow.

Адрес:* Adress (e.g. PO Box ****) I use my real PO Box here

Квартира/офис: Building or Unit number (leave blank)

Город:* Suburb, I use my real one.

Почтовый индекс:* Post Code, again I use my real one.

Страна:* State, I pick the first in the list (starts with A3epo***)

Номер телефона:* Home Telephone, I enter my mobile with the 61 prefix and dropping the first 0. e.g. 0400777111 would become 61400777111.

      Credit Card Info.

Выберите сохраненный вариант оплаты:* Leave on default

Способ оплаты:* Type of CC (e.g.) Visa - I once used "Credit Card" & the transaction failed, not sure if it was this or not, but it worked when I changed it to Visa (which is what my card is).

Номер кредитной карты: * Card Number

Дата окончания срока действия: * Expiry - Month/Year. Months are easy once you learn that written Russian has a few similarities to English, e.g. January = январь, March = март, June = июнь.

Код безопасности карты: Security Code for your CC, on my Visa this is a 3 digit code.

Last is a "Tick-box" to accept the privacy policy, must be done.

Hit the big blue Continue (продолжать) button.

Next page is to review your order, so just continue.

And your done! Takes about 10 seconds and the game icon loads with you serial key beside it (they also email a copy).

      • Thanks for all that.. But, I think it's more that my name/cc/whatever is blacklisted by ubisoft.. I've tried to buy games from the shop but it never works.. I've submitted a few support tickets a few years ago but no one ever reads the issue that I have and just get a generic response.. I think it's because of the ubi store glitch a few years back and they hate me..

    • ooooo, I just went to the site to check something and Dragon Age is now gone ………….

  • Worked here. Thanks!

  • Can anyone else please confirm if they have removed the game from sales?

    • I dont see it anywhere

  • I just bought this game and realised these aren't my style of games.

Is there any way I can sell the CD-Key or get a refund?

    • Not through Ubi. Vladdo is after one, you might be able to PM him and organise something.

      • It's already assigned to my origin account though…

        • All I know is they don't refund their products, not last time I tried anyway. In fact it's even written on the purchase page - in Russian :)

    • I'll take it

  • I'll take it. I can try the key on my account then pay you after it works…

Not that that sounds dodgy coming from a new member or anything :p

  • Been trying to purchase since yesterday and kept getting "failed checkout" in Russian.
Now it seems that they've completely removed the game from the Ukraine site.

    Can someone else confirms?

    • Yes. It's no longer searchable.

  • +1

I feel sorry for all those Ukrainians now who have to Hola or no script out of their country and pick it up for $89 in Australia…
