        But make sure you don't link an ANZ card to Bankwest MasterPass. Made that mistake today.

        Long story short:

        • Linked an ANZ card to Bankwest MasterPass this morning.

        • Tried to use the same ANZ card to pay for something online a few hours later and it kept getting rejected.

        • Rang ANZ up and was told that because a USD0.29 charge earlier this morning looked suspicious, they blocked my account. They couldn't tell me any more detail than the amount and approximately time of the transaction (not even who put through the charge).

        • I remember reading that Bankwest MasterPass might put through a small charge to verify the card which will subsequently be reversed when I linked up the cards.

        • Spent ages trying to explain this to them but both ladies (one being a supervisor) I spoke to either didn't care or didn't understand (I suspect both). All they want is a) for me to take full responsibility of that and any charges from then on or b) to stop & reissue the card. Of course I wouldn't give ANZ the indemnity they sought when I couldn't say for sure it's legit (although I suspected it was simply the verification charge).

        • Needless to say, I was furious at this stage as they picked up a USD0.29 charge as suspicious but let payments over $1,000 go through without question.

        • Despite the ANZ card had already been cancelled, I rang Bankwest to try to find out if they knew whether that charge was from them or if it was really frandulent. Bankwest's customer service knew nothing about MasterPass and told me they don't have this service at the moment.

        • Found another number on my welcome email. Rang that number and got through to MasterPass. They couldn't find my account. They said Bankwest's program is under CBA's and they have no access to those accounts. I was told to call CBA.

        • Rang CBA and CBA said they had no access to Bankwest's MasterPass accounts.

      No. I think they add it manually since masterpass payments have to be approved manually by merchant, and they would upgrade you to priority then

          You dont need a copy of the offer. The person i messaged knew about it right away and was activated as soon as they got to my inquiry.

          as a Priority Member, you can access 6.30am AEST sales events from 8.00pm AEST the night before. Midday sales are accessible from 9.00am AEST & 4pm sales from 1pm!

          Paid $2.50 for an item posted to get Priority access and i think its an awesome deal :)
