      $38 is for Aussie made Heineken. Imported is $40.95. A world of difference in taste (in my opinion) and definitely worth the extra $3.

    Years back I managed to get a close by safeway liquor to price match dan murphy and get the (at the time) 20% discount when buying in 6 or 12 (can't remember). Just need to find a safeway liquor close by.

    Perfect..combine it with the Amex offer (3x $50 transactions, $50 credit) brings it down to $35.33 per bottle of 389 at $52 a bottle.

    The 389 was $41.80 a couple of weeks ago through Woolworths online however there did not seem to be much interest. With Amex deal it certainly will.I can get cashback of 8.35% as well so it becomes even more attractive to me. Thanks OP.

    Paid more for the 389 earlier - but this is an impressive wine at a fair price. Just don't be a guts and drink it all too soon. Buying the Heineken and Chivas to stock up. :-))

    Cashback has today been increased at Dan Murphy's until sunday through https://www.cashrewards.com.au/dan-murphys. Increased to spirits 6.5% , beer 5%, wine 9% etc.

          Awesome. Just picked up 3 bottles of 389, less $14 cash rewards, less $50 amex refund, comes out at $30.67 a pop. :D

          Will keep these for decades.

          Thanks again OP. Just got 3 more bottles with my wife's Amex. With our DM's cash back of 8.35%and Amex $50 credit these 3 came down to $30.91 a bottle. Couldn't beat the $30.67. Can't really count the $22.58 price for first 2 bottles bought today as had already spent $50 on another date.

          Was tempted to use some balance off a wish gift card as I get them for 5% off face value, to get 30 more cents off and get closer to the $30.67 a bottle!

          The price keeps going down! I have paid the following for Bin 389 now;

          $54.81 x 6 on release on DM's 16/10/14
          $41.80 x 6 Woolowrth's Online 8/11/14
          $22.58 x 2 DM's 26/11/14, had already made one $50 purchase toward Amex $50 credit promo and got 8.35% cash back
          $30.91 x 3 DM's 26/11/14, $50 Amex promo and 8.35% cash back

          So for 17 bottles, my avg is $42.21. Yes some of you will have lower avg bottle price but less bottles! next time I'm not buying on release!
