Hmm, there don't seem to be many good prices on ozgameshop anyway that a 5% cut would salvage. I found Professor Layton and The Miracle Mask for $14.99 before coupon which seems alright:

Last time, the rep took the piss out of our comments https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/172002

    • +7

Wow, that is just a train wreck of a comment

      • Didn't see that until I saw your link here, haha. The OZG rep took my comment on that deal about not being competitive anymore to heart I think.

    • Seems like a pretty reasonable response to me. It did take Australian retailers a long time to start charging reasonable amounts for games.

I've been waiting for them to drop their price on pre-sequel (wanted to use a player points voucher) but their pricing is weird. Their pre-order price was $48 and now it is $54 even though the key can be purchased from others for about mid $30. I know ozgameshop has dropped the ball a lot in the last couple of years but this is just…

"Oh, the comment of our pricing 'not being competitive for a while' is a little harsh don't you think?" - OZGameshopRep

    ^No mate, it's spot on - Watty

    • Total $51.29 delivered with 5% off for borderlands pre sequel for Xbox 360. That's one of the best prices available.

      • I was referring to pc pricing, $54 is definitely not even close to the best price out there.

  • delivery by Christmas?

    • +3

yes, by dec 2015, as it's not local store

        So no then :(

PSV Hyperdimension Neptunia PP - $33.99 (Marked as having been price dropped as well) - 5% = $32.29. JB Hi-Fi standard price for a while = $29. I've been after this for a while but since the JB Hi-Fi price hasn't moved I've just been waiting to see if a slightly sweeter tasting deal comes up, but it seems it never will :(

A few that I found that seemed to be cheaper here than anywhere else:
    PS4 Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition $43.99 - 5% = $41.79
    PS4 Lords of the Fallen Limited Edition $63.99 - 5% = $60.79
    PSV Deception IV Blood Ties $26.09 - 5% = $24.79
    PSV Hatsune Miku Project DIVA F 2nd $45.99 - 5% = $43.69
PS4 The Crew $68.99 - 5% = $65.54 A note with this one though, it's just the plain ol' vanilla and not the ANZ edition with the Mini Cooper S and BMW Z4.
To be honest there isn't anything super great that I could find, however if there were things you were going to get anyway, then there are a few things that will be cheapest there right now.

There are some things that are good value. Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax are both good value compared to the Australian prices.

    • I forgot about Kingdom Hearts 2.5 in my above post because I was looking at the Limited Edition, which is the same price as most AU Local standard editions haha :S Good catch!

    • OZG is probably the cheapest for KH 2.5 atm but P4A Ultimax can be found cheaper at BlockBuster ($42.41 shipped) if you don't mind the long shipping times or at DungeonCrawl ($44.75 shipped after coupon CGXMAS).

      • Good price from Dungeon Crawl, but from looking at their page there is no guarantee you'll geta UK copy, which is important since I plan on buying some of the DLC.

I used to buy of these guys. Then they start charging postage and charge more than the exchange rate did. Cant see mtself buying anything from them til they can rejig their model to beat DSE pre order prcies. Just not worth it…

    • +1

also we get less player points now. Include the wait for delivery it just isnt worth it anymore.

      • +5

        And the points expire.

  • whats with the credit card price reduction on an order?

"use my credit card on this order ($2.01) available"

  • New Super Mario Bros U is $29 after the code plus delivery if you haven't bought it yet when it was posted here months ago

New Super Mario Bros U is $29

      It's not new…

  • Some decent Wii U pricing before the 5% discount if you use the $10-25 filter.

    http://www.ozgameshop.com/m/wii-u-games/price-10-25

Again, maybe some nice stocking stuffers for de chirrens (old enough to play some of the titles)

Nintendoland for 15.29 after discount for instance.

    • +1

Those titles are cheaper if you buy locally, even ebgames sale prices beat most of them.

  • For any existing members check your account as they recently awarded everyone 1000 player points which equates to $1 but good to add to any points you already have.

    • I was given 1240 player points which was enough for me to redeem a $2.50 voucher.
